Well, can't agree here.
1. Medical Workers most exposed to the virus and treating those with it. They are at risk for viral load and are on the front lines. We need these folks to be available and not at risk so that they can actually save more lives treating the patients. Plus, they have been through this fight and have the most experience.
2. The elderly in nursing homes and those with serious comorbidities. They are the most likely to overrun the hospitals, and that is the main reason for restrictions and shut downs. As long as our hospitals are not at threat to be overrun, then almost all the mandates and restrictions can be eased or eliminated. This possibly can include masks after a period of time, for those of us ready to never wear these things in public.
3. Those at risk but healthy. Guys like me on immunosurppresants and other medications or have other conditions. While I can wait if need be, many in this class cannot and again, hospitals are at risk way less when these folks are vaccinated. I'd put teachers here as well if they did not already qualify.
4. Everyone else...Kids are very much safe here. Only kiddos who are at risk would be in the #2 bracket.
