He's pretty nervous about this new treatment but it was recommended by ER docs at Baylor McKinney due to high risk for regression of his C19 disease based on age, O2 levels and length of symptoms. About 10 days since he first noticed symptoms and confirmed positive a week ago today. Pretty steady low grade fever 100-101 with fatigue, chills and body aches....none of which have shown much improvement over 10 days in. Chest X-ray came back clear so that's a positive. He does have a sinus infection on top of Covid though.
Dad is in very good health, no major risk factors other than his age and this thing has knocked him down. My FIL, on the other hand, had it in July and was asymptomatic despite being 70 with COPD. Crazy to me how this disease affects people so differently.
