Before beginning the 2023 season at the Omaha Invite on Friday, Texas A&M was defeated by 15th-ranked Baylor in exhibition play at Reed Arena, 3-1. After the Bears took the first two sets, the Aggies fought back to claim the third but fell just short in a close-run fourth set.
