as an aside. I am looking at everyone elses projected points and alot of teams are loosing their point winners after this meet. Next year is going to look alot different, unless some of the traditional powers are reloaded.

So can I assume that Oregon allowed us to move 2 points closer in projections with their finishes in the 5000M? I would imagine that we would still be projected 2nd though.

I'm no track expert, but I would think that pole vault would be an event where projections and realities can be quite different, either good or bad.

Oregon is throwing the javelin right now and are projected to get 9 pts there

Oregon has a girl pole vaulting and she is projected for 6 points.

From what I know of the pole vault, it is very dependent on muscle memory and form. If you are out of it you are fighting muscle memory to get back in.

Can anyone tell what's going on in the men's javelin? I heard one of the Oregon guys (Hostetler) making it into the top 9. Did the other one make it in? He was projected to win 3 pts.

holden, the pole vault for the oregon girls already spelled out trouble. gergel (oregon), who was projected to place 3rd and win 6 points isnt gonna win any points and was out quite awhile ago.

i think oregon's other javelener (?) that was projected to get sixth didnt make the finlas. so that should be another -3 for oregon putting us 5 behind them
