What is the gripe against Nadal? Many on this board want him to get put out. I understand it is because of Federer but let Fed take care of his mess.
I don't agree with this at all
1) I didn't care who won with DelPotro v Nadal, but I did call for the upset when I made my prediction so I was interested in seeing it through.
2) I began to root for DelPo a bit more in the match today after the "questionable" timing that was allowed before the tiebreak, but if anything I think he simply shouldn't have been granted the time till after the tiebreak, but I don't fault him for asking for it. I just felt like DelPo got the short end so I felt for him there.
3)I've wanted Rafa v Fed as a final matchup from the get go, so I'm most certainly not against him by any means.
4)He's going up against Fish, an American next round who is making a great run...so I don't blame anybody for rooting for Mardy there.
At this point in the tournament, I can equally root for two guys in the same match, so while I may pull for one over the other, it's not anti-the opponent by any means.
can't speak for anyone else, but I think you're grossly overstating it by describing it as a "gripe" against Nadal.
