Alright, starts up Monday. The number 1 seed is up for grabs as Rafa AND Roger have a shot of taking it from Djoker.

This is likely Roger's best shot at winning another GS. Should be fun!

Fed's got the easiest draw of the 3. However there's a pretty big gap now between him Djoker and Rafa. Going with the Djoker.

Not so sure the gap is as big as you think. Federer can still do it but the window is closing.

The gaps big enough that Fed isn't in the conversation as to who's the best current player on the tour. It's strictly a Rafa/Djoker discussion.

except that Roger could leave Wimbledon ranked #1 if he wins I do believe...so yeah...he's right there.

Here is the thing with Federer now. Can he go in on a surface that is not to his liking as far as speed is concerned and win? Probably not. Is he a factor at the French Open anymore. No. But this is Wimbledon. He can win it. Will he? probably not. But the guy still has some left in the tank.

I think Fed is the best of all time. I also think he's the third best now and that there's a pretty decent gap between him and the fourth best. I just think in the last year or so Rafa and Djoker have separated from him. JMO and certainly arguable. If he's going to win another major, this is probably his best shot. I'll be rooting for him but I don't see him doing it.

Serena and her antics on court kill me. The way she falls down after missing an easy shot when in complete control of the match is ridiculous.

Sharapova in a dogfight early against Pironkova. Not only is she pretty, she's pretty damn good on grass. Tough matchup for Maria.

Center Court indoors is....interesting. a little confusing to the mind, keep thinking they aren't at wimbledon.

Pironkova did good to win the 2nd set tiebreak, but she ran out of gas in the 3rd and Maria is on a mission.

Pironkova has moved back to the top of my favorite players to watch based purely on looks.

Rafa down 2 sets to 1, and won the 1st set in a tiebreak at that. Wow.

and breaks twice to take the 4th set.

And now they are closing the roof, takes 30 minutes to get ready to play, and then play the 5th set all the way indoors.

Rafa very well could have been straight setted out of this tournament in round 2 if not for a few fortunate points in the 1st set. Crazy to think about.

Sucks we gotta wait a half hour but, hope we get a spectacular 5th set.

it's dangerously close to the point where i can't watch Rafa play tennis. So excruciatingly long in between points it kills me.

I timed it earlier in the tiebreaker, it was 1:09 between the 6th and 7th point. Ridiculous. But no one will ever say anything to him about it.


Rafa gets broken in first game of 5th set

Wow. This really opens the door for Federer. He has an easy draw to the semis where he will no doubt meet Joker. From there it is probably going to be winner take all for no one will beat either of them in a finals.

Funny thing about Rafa. He was complaining about the Czech guy jumping up and down when Rafa would bounce the ball 400 times and play with his hair. I thought "look who is talking".

Rafa was reportedly complaining about Rosol's noise he made before Rafa would serve.

Rafa will have many excuses in his presser as to why he lost.

good. I like Rafa as a champion but his antics have always annoyed the hell out of me. He was delaying before the Czech's first serve each game too, you know just trying to get under his skin. Kid held up well and hit some straight unreal shots.

Rafa is such a BAMF'ing champion it'll never happen, but he needs a "HIT THE BALL SERGIO!" moment and let's really talk about this. Something needs to be said. Hell, even Djoker has learned how to speed up his game at least a little bit.

Also, this just reinforces how amazing Roger's consecutive SF streak was, and maybe now even more impressive, his consecutive QF streak currently is. Those numbers are unreal...so unreal that arguably the best player on earth can still bow out of a GS in the 2nd round.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I like Rafa's slow and deliberate play. Usually it works in his favor. The Czech played a hell of a match today though, and Rafa didn't bring his best game.

I guess I'll be rooting for Fish or Djoker the rest of the way.

Djoker dropped the first set today and then destroyed.

And Roger drops the 2nd set in a tiebreak. He had 3 set points during Benneteau's serve when leading 6-5 but couldn't convert.

Gonna have to win in 5 if he wants to win and continue his QF streak.

Bennetau is playing outstanding tennis and going for a winner every chance he gets. Today he is converting on most.

2 straight nights on Centre court of some major drama.

This is a strange outcome. Fed is in some really deep trouble now. Of course it is not out of the realm for him to win the next 3 sets but he had better pick his game up. This is really setting up well for Joker if this outcome holds.

Funny you should mention that Bunk and it is something that I picked up yesterday during the coverage of the Nadal match. These underdogs don't care. They are just letting it fly.
