quote:
Why do people like Federer so much? He cries like a baby when he loses, and wheen he wins he seems gracious...
Except when he beat Andy Roddick in one of the longest Wimbledons ever and then donned a jacket with golden "15" stitching to commemorate his grand slam titles...
He's without a doubt the most humble champion I've ever seen in an individual sport. To be that great takes a certain level of ego and confidence, but he keeps his in check better than any great I can remember. The only time I can remember seeing him cry was when Rafa beat him at the Australian Open when he(and the rest of the world for that matter) thought the window had possibly closed on his career and his chance at the GS record. And that was one of the more emotional moments I can ever remember in tennis.
You're really going to hold a Nike(who he is sponsored by) driven campaign on his shoes as something to take a dig at him for? That's a bit weak. I also only one person being a jackass on that day and it wasn't Federer. It was Roddick once again showing his lack of class after the match. Haters gonna Hate I suppose.
