I'm watching the tennis channel.

I've watched (and played) plenty of tennis I don't remember ever seeing the score shown this way on television.

I didn't mean that as a slight against you or what you've watched, so I hope you didn't take it that way.

I just meant that ESPN(on their network coverage) has been showing it with the sets in full, but when I have been watching on DirecTV's wimbledon mix with all the courts and channels, and some of the ESPN3 feeds it has been the wimbledon feed and announcers, which has shown it with just the 3 blocks, with set's won, game's won, point's.

Tennis channel was probably showing the BBC feed or something.

I do agree though that it is annoying, and when glancing at a match it diminishes the competition involved in previous sets when you just see a 1 or 2 up there.

This is the first year I've had Direct and Tennic Channel so maybe that's why I've never seen it before.

Watching ESPN2 this morning and they are showing the score properly.

It's a Wimbledon thing, they show the score that way on directv Wimbledon Mix. It's a little screwy

Rain at 5-5 in the Murray/Ferrer match.

eff ferrer. can't stand seeing Spaniards get far in Wimbledon, just don't like their games. really looking forward to the djokovic/fed semi, and for tsonga to beat Murray, but don't really care. just want fed coming out victorious for his for 7th Wimbledon crown.

Fed v Murray would be pretty intense.

yeah, it would be insane. when was the last time an English player even made a final? henman only made it to the semis twice, and of course the last champ was in 36.

That would be AWESOME.

Especially because it means the Federer semi would have also been spectacular.

Well great, we get to see Serena in another final. Hopefully the offspeed and trick of Radwanska can take her out.

Hopefully she used up her allotted amount of aces today.

and they tell her after the match that its her 7th wimbledon final, and she acts like she didn't know...I can't stand her antics. And the ESPN/NBC crew will be all over this like white on rice Saturday. Not sure if I can watch it.

Murray is not English.

British when he wins, Scottish when he loses

why all the hate on Serena?

I am in no way obsessed with her like some people are, but her power and finesse are unmatched when she is at the top of her game, and I respect her for her talent. Some people just can't stand her AT ALL.

I can't stand her antics on court, the drama she brings. When she misses a shot and flops around with her head dropping, and making those stupid faces. She missed an easy approach shot the other day and "slipped" so she could call on the ground and pout.

There is no reason to act like that. And she does it all the time.

I hate her on court and off court antics. As mentioned above...also the way she handles reporters after losses.

I am also convinced she was a heavy HGH user early in her career....but even I was convinced of that and she was a classy champion I wouldn't hate her. It's the way she carries herself on and off the court.

I also can't stand Andy Roddick...who also acts like a ***** a lot. Although he did manage to snag Brooklyn Decker and lock it up, so props on that.

Guess I am the only one that likes Serena (and Venus) and will be rooting for her on Saturday.

Yep, although I don't hate Venus quite as much as Serena.

I don't mind Roddick so much, he's just one of many stereotypical jocks/morons.

It is night and day concerning Venus and Serena Williams. Venus is pretty classy (she has had to grow up before our eyes but as a lady she carries herdelf well). Serena has threatened to kill line judges. Trash.

Semifinals today! Go Fed!

Good start by Fed. He is getting his first serv in and joker is starting to talk to himself. But Federer needs to keep the pressure up. This second set needs to go his way.

damn. 2 sets done in 54 minutes. Going fast.

holding serve in the 3rd...Fed had a few outstanding chances to break Djoker earlier, and on a crazy point Djoker survived with some awesome back and forth between the two. Fed was oh so close to taking a hold on the set.

Why do people like Federer so much? He cries like a baby when he loses, and wheen he wins he seems gracious...

Except when he beat Andy Roddick in one of the longest Wimbledons ever and then donned a jacket with golden "15" stitching to commemorate his grand slam titles...

I have never noticed Fed crying when he loses. He is one of the more even keel players around.

Wow, Fowler said this morning that the Murray Tsonga tickets on centre court are going for 25,000 pounds. Come on Andy beat this Frenchman.

He cried after the Austalian Open one year because he was so close to surpassing Sampras that his emotions got the better of him.

Federer can be an ass sometimes no doubt. He gives back handed compliments like no other. But when he is on the court he is all business and he is quick. That is why I like him.

He's without a doubt the most humble champion I've ever seen in an individual sport. To be that great takes a certain level of ego and confidence, but he keeps his in check better than any great I can remember. The only time I can remember seeing him cry was when Rafa beat him at the Australian Open when he(and the rest of the world for that matter) thought the window had possibly closed on his career and his chance at the GS record. And that was one of the more emotional moments I can ever remember in tennis.

You're really going to hold a Nike(who he is sponsored by) driven campaign on his shoes as something to take a dig at him for? That's a bit weak. I also only one person being a jackass on that day and it wasn't Federer. It was Roddick once again showing his lack of class after the match. Haters gonna Hate I suppose.
