Well done by Andy, but Roger was too much as most of the time he is.

I think Andy will get one, eventually. His talent and "want to" deserves to have a title or two in the history books.

What a great run.

i was on the road for the final set unfortunately and had to listen to it on sirius(seriously...NEVER listen to a tennis match on the radio...you have no clue what's going on).

Just watched the final set and ceremony on ESPN3....wow. Crushing for Andy but he handled it like a champ.

He and Roger have not been the closest of friends in the top 4 over the years to say the least, and while it's tough for him now, I bet today brought them closer.

Andy had his chances. Up a set and a break, then at 4-4 in the second set with 2(IIRC) break points...couldn't convert. A 2 set lead against Fed would have been a lot more comfortable going into the rain delay/roof closing break than 1 all and Roger seemingly in in control.

I hope Roger is right that he'll win at least one grand slam, and I hope he wins a Wimbledon title. Murray is officially my 2nd favorite tennis player to root for. His GF ain't bad either.

Roger is without a doubt the greatest ever.

Seemed a little weird to me, I thought the shot was pretty close, but Fed had the best view and he started celebrating immediately. Wasn't sure if Murray was gonna challenge or not.

Congrats to Federer, it's awesome that he's #1 again. I hope he can do well at the Olympics this year. And I think Murray might have become more of a sympathetic character with his crying.

I wasn't sure if that match point was out either. I believe Andy was out of challenges.

I re-wound it on DVR and slowed it down. It was out by 4-6 inches...it just looked goofy live.
