If anyone [coach] protests, they have to be heard soon after the event. They will update it soon. For some reason, there have been several protests in this meet.

That men's 4x400 has been showing for over half an hour. Must be pretty intense.

Looks like a tight Baylor-Texas finish for the last Q spot. Or is it Oregon pros testing the Ags?

Is Oregon trying to pull a Florida on us in the 4x400? I don’t think they fouled us from behind as Florida did in the indoor relay.

MidTnAg,

Do you think we will run Ekpone on the 4x4 along with Little, Bellile, and Brown?

Jeff,

I think that Ekpone will run in the championship round. That squad will likely run the semifinal round if I had to guess.

It'll be the last run of the college season so there isn't any reason to not put your 4 best on it.

So she will run the 4x1 relay and the 200 prior on that last day......she should still have some gas in the tank.

I think we are going to have to go 3:25 or better.

It will probably depend on how things are going so far that day. The Women 4x100, 200m, and 4x400 are all within 2 hours of each other on the last day [Sat] of the meet.

Ekpone will run the 100m semis on Wed, 200m semis on Thurs, and the 100m finals on Friday. These should be no problem.

Looking at what Ekpone did at the SEC.

She ran a 11.11 100 at 320 PM.
She ran a 22.23 200 at 420 PM
She ran about a 50 flat 4x400 anchor at 530 PM.

This likely isn't any different from the NCAA final day.

You'll likely see Ekpone get a break from both prelims rounds of the relay.

Very Solid performances overall by the Aggies. Congrats to the Team.

On the women side, Texas might be the favorite but I really like our chances.
The key is getting 3 women in the 100m and 200m finals and anything could happen. Look out for Jennifer Madu in the 100m. I think she can do very well and she is only running 1 individual event, Olivia and Aaliyah are the other who can score. Try and score at least 10 points in 100m
In the 200m, we can definitely get a 1-2 with Kamaria and Ekpone. Kamaria is improving with every meet since her injury. Look out for a fast 200m at NCAA. I fancy our chances to score three women Kamaria, Ekpone and Purvis in the 200m. Aaliyah could spring a surprise, she has done very well as a freshmen. Try and score 18 plus points in 200m.
I don't think Texas would sweep the 400m. Phyllis Francis would be definitely in the mix and could break up the top Texas trio. Also in the East Regionals 4 women ran under 52 seconds and we cannot count them out. The favorites though must be Courtney Okolo and Ashley Spencer of Texas in the 400m. I think the 400m is key to championship race. If Texas doesnot sweep the 400m, our chances are so much better.
The 400m hurdles are another potential big scorer for us. We have 2 of the top three times in NCAA so we should look to score 14 points or more there.
These three races could score the bulk of our scoring. Then we have Shelbi Vaughn in the Discus a potential 10 points. The 4x100m relay another 10 points. Laque Moen Davis in the triple jump a possible 6 plus points.
Jena Hemann and Brea Garret could spring a surprise. I know Brea is fouling alot but some of the foul throws have gone 63 plus. Look out Brea and Jena to be in the mix. The 4x400m would be a very good race between Texas, Oregon and us. Texas might be the favorite but we have can run 3.25 or lower to be in the mix. At the SEC we ran 328.59 with the freshman Aaliyah Brown running the slowest split of 53.9 split. So take take three or four seconds off with faster split from Kamaria Brown, we could run 3.25 or so.
If all go well we can potentially score 70 plus points.
Texas is depending on their 400m runners, Moralake in the 100m and 200m, their top Pole Vaulter, Distance runner Marielle Hall and 4x400m relay. Hall have some tough competition as well in Abbey D'Agostino of Dartmouth, the indoor champion and Stanford runner Asling Cuffe.
Texas 100m hurdler and 400m hurder could also score but the competition is tough in these two events.
If we really having everyone doing well on the same day, I think our chances are quite good in the women's race. Pat Henry always emphasizes the key to a championship is for everyone doing their best on the same day.

The seeded list going into the NCAA championship based on times and marks from both East and West Regionals. Listed are the events our Aggie women are participating in. The Heat sheet would be based on these times and marks. I left out some of relays teams from places 13-24.
Next to our Aggie Athletes in brackets I have place their season best and personal best times and mark. If our athletes, perform close to their Season bests and personal bests I think we would do very well at the championship

On the men side, see seeded list below going into the national championship combining the East and West Regional performance list.
I have included the season’s best and personal best in bracket for the Aggie athletes.
I think our men has a great chance again. If every athlete perform at their best we can pull it off. The 400m could be a big scorer for us if we can get at least three in the finals. We also have two good relay teams, Wayne Davis and our other sprint and hurdle specialists. If our field athletes could give us some extra points it would be huge for us. We have Chase Wolfle, Devion Harris, Casy Strong, Devin Bogert and Olabanji Asekun who can perform very well and give us points.
65 plus points is certainly attainable

Pole Vault
Chase Wolfle 8th (1 point)

If our guys perform anyway like the SEC championship I think we can get 65 plus points.
No points were predicted for our men in the 100m. I think Prezel and Shavez can score points in the 100m . They showed it in the SEC.
We might be able to get another 400m runner in the finals. Both Carlyle Roudette and Aldrich Bailey are improving. Bailey went from a 47 plus to a 45 plus in two weeks. We may get some surprise scoring from our field athletes as well.
Overall I think we have a good chance but again it depends on who can do their best on that day. The Aggies are very experienced when it comes to championship finals. I think we would give a good account of ourselves next week.

Good: Top 4 finish for both teams
Better: Top 4 finish with a chance for 1st in the final few events
Best: Championship

Regardless how they finish, I'll be watching (hoping) for
1) Our predicted individuals 1st finish 1st
2) Finish 1st in W 4x100 and M 4x400 as predicted and upset tu for 1st in the W 4x400
3) 1/2 finish in the W 200m (Ekpone & Kamaria) or have 3 run in the finals
4) 1/2 finish in the W 400m hurdles (Little & Bellille)
5) Brea having 1 (or 2) more crazy throw for 4+ points
6) Hardy score 6+ points

Is Sierra Patrick transferring to Texas? Supposedly something on her Twitter.

I checked the Aggie Volleyball Roster for 2014 and Sierra Patrick name is not on the roster. It could be true she has left for Texas. She did not compete for the Aggies in the SEC championship in the high jump either.

Well Texas is good at the two sports she competes in, that is both Volleyball and High Jump.
