Great list, love the detailed information for all sessions. 1 minor correction, M. Javelin was yesterday and Devin Bogert is already qualified for Eugene.

With her recent struggles, I am not upset that Moen-Davis didn't advance. Hopefully, this will give her complete focus on her better event. Same for Garrett.

We really need these two to score points because this looks to be a very close race for the Championship.

Just to mention also that Jena Hemman has also qualified to NCAA in the Women Heptathlon. There are no Regionals for multievents. The top 24 athletes on points qualify directly to NCAA. She is the 19th qualifier. She needs to improve to score at NCAA. She is capable of it. She is good in javelin. She has been off in the high jump but I expect her to fully ready for NCAA.

With regards to Laque Moen Davis in the long jump. I still believe she could have scored at NCAA. It only takes one big jump and you can win the NCAA. Yes the triple jump is her better event but having jumped 6.60m plus last year must make anyone disappointed with her performance this year.

Thanks Halco. Bogert is in my Thursday summary but somehow “slipped” into my Friday schedule.

Casey Strong sitting 5th going to the final 3 throws in M. Hammer, in a good position to add a 4th field event athlete on the men's side.

Mayumbe does not advance to the NCAA in the women 400m. Another disappointed end to another senior on the Aggie Track team. Something is really wrong.

Texas women dominate the 400m. I guess every top 400m recruit will want to go Texas now.

It seems the Prezel Hardy saga continues. He always have problems advancing and performing well at NCAA. He ran as if he didnot want to qualify. This was the SEC champion.
He has to wait now on fastest loser time now

Prezel Hardy was the final qualifier to the NCAA 100m. Shavez Hart qualify as one of the automatic qualifiers.

Another season ends for Senior Michael Bryan. Another who promised so much at A&M but it never materialized.

Truth is that Michael Bryan likely overachieved while he was at A&M.

Senior Melissa Mays had three fouls and did not get a mark in women's triple jump. Another senior seasons end. She had the 14th rank mark in the triple jump. Seniors Haley Gooch and Jordan Wislon season career also ends at A&M.
Laque Moen Davis should qualify.

Four Aggie women make NCAA in the 100m

Shelby Vaughn seems to struggling with her discus throws. She is second place with two foul throws and way off her PB. Come on Shelbi

Devion Harris is in 9th place in the High jump and may qualify

I don't care about PB's this week. 1 good throw was all we needed. Be in the top 12, survive and advance.

Devion Harris has qualified in the men's high jump.

Please note that your time and mark from the NCAA regionals are used to seed you for heats in the NCAA finals (not your SB). So when the top 12 times from both EAST and WEST are combine, the heat sheet will be created. For me it is not only about qualifying but getting a decent time and mark to be in the better heat and flight in the final.
For eg Prezel Hardy was the last qualifier in the slowest time. He would would get a heat with some top qualifiers
clw04
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
I think there is a huge difference in the 100 vs the longer races for this.

There likely will not be much of a slow heat in terms of the qualifiers for the 100.

There is enough differentiation in times for the 200, 400, and up that you could perhaps take it easy in a slower heat.

The thing I would like to see is for all the A&M runners to be spread through the heats.

Hey TRINAG You need to tone down some of your commentary unless you have actually walked the walk. Mainly speaking of your comment about Michael Bryan and many others. If you have nothing positive to say, then I would appreciate you keep your pile hole shut. Thanks

No huge surprises today. Some disappointments, but definitely no unexpected losses.
Collier and Mayungbe had disappointing senior seasons.
Hope Prezel Hardy and Shavez Hart improve their 100m performances at Nationals.
Looks like Aldrich Bailey and Kamaria Brown are healthy again, just in time for the big one.

This is a public forum. It's ok to have an opinion. It's ok to be wrong. It doesn't always have to be positive.

It's fun to hear other's thoughts even when I don't agree with what they have to say.

Good night.
