It wouldn't be a close race right now if Akinosun hadn't flipped to Illinois at the last minute - we'd be projected at like 65.
Not only do they always get the home track advantage, but the commentators are always fawning over them as well.
With the NCAA Championships being held at Haywood for the next several years [thru 2021], Oregon will have a huge [and unfair to the rest of us] advantage in recruiting.

I wouldn't say he suddenly pulled up since ran 46.xx. He just kinda cruised in when he couldn't hit that high gear down the stretch.

Really tough to win it all with losing that kind of talent or them missing a significant amount of training.
Add Lathone Collie and Moen-Davis to that list. Never seemed right all year and both would have scored in the TJ also.
