Looks like Cal and Long Beach were DQ'd from our heat.

UH men dropped the baton.

Alstian Walker 2nd in the men's TJ.

But the best flights are still to jump.

None of the 4 Aggie women advance in the 200.

Rough day so far.

Walker was 2nd in the TJ at one point but is now 14th. Had 4 runners in the women's 200 but no one made it through.

Just my guesstimate since I haven't seen who all qualified, but I see the women finishing around 50 points and the men getting around 30 points. A little disappointing Ilolo didn't make the 400H and the women not getting more sprinters in. It would have been nice to see Tyra make nationals in the LJ too, but she's contributing a bunch already.

Does anyone know what happened to the women on the 4x100? They had one of the best times going in.

I believe men will be closer to 40 than 30. Depends on Hite's performance in decathlon, getting something out of javelin and getting at least 8 in 400 hurdles. If the women get 50 they will be no worse than third.

Bad second exchange. Baton hit the track. A shame too because they absolutely crushed the first two legs (Amber Ivy, Danyel White). Stagger was completely erased with half the race left to go.

Projections I saw today have both our teams finishing 4th. Wish each team had the athletes who recently turned pro.

Work deadlines are going to prevent me from attending the first two days of the meet. If anyone in the Katy/Houston area wants a single ticket for those two days, I will give them to you. The ticket is in Section 5, Row 1

Got an email from NCAA saying Wednesday's event times have been moved up.

Decathlon starts at noon rather than 2:30.
Field events start at 2.
Running events start at 4.

Too busy to look up expected scorers vs potential scorers especially since I'll be out of town this weekend, but we can track the top teams.

Wooten passed on the first height and then missed his first attempt in the PV. Will have some work to do now.

Bryce Deadmon makes the 400m final! That was definitely unexpected.

Ran a PB to qualify in 7th position.

Hardin in 1st and Petersson in 3rd after first flight of javelin. Hope at least one can sneak into the final.

Wooten misses first attempt at 5.50m, well below his PB.

Dixon auto qualifies to 800m final finishing 2nd.

Orange finished 3rd and will hope to get a time qualifier.

Both reach the final with 2nd and 3rd fastest times.

Fortunately we've had a couple surprise finalists on the track today to make up for it.

Grant auto qualifies to the final in the 400h.

Tucker struggled and misses the final. That's a loss of a few projected points.

Hardin 7th in the javelin and qualifies for the final 3 throws. Miss St has top 3 positions at the moment.

Improves to 6th place on his 4th throw.
