I have very vivid memories of watching the Texas men's team lose a heartbreaker in the NCAA final.

With the A&M women's team on deck to play as an underdog.

I remember Mark's confidence. I remember the team being loose and having fun.

I remember thinking - once in a lifetime experience. Soak in every moment.

And then I remember watching our girls play their best match of the year.

And winning the NCAA team title.

She's been "gone" since the beginning of the season. I mean, I'm sure she's happy for her friends, but talk about an odd decision. I think with all the new blood coming in next year she wasn't guaranteed to play at 1 or 2. Idk what she's thinking. I think Mark appreciates hard working, dedicated, focused, and driven girls. I don't think Nicole has played a match in over a year. The rest of our team is playing professional tournaments etc. Wish her nothing but the best until we play her and then I hope we wipe her off the court (if she's going to Auburn or Georgia)

Plus, injured players don't travel (in any sport). She hasn't traveled with the team all year.

Not sure if this one of you but a great post on Mark. Missing a bunch of conference titles!

So many legends on this team. I won't name them all, but do specifically want to praise Daria!

You guys know that I've always had her back when some were doubting her. What she did the last two night in the semi-finals and finals was amazing. She was a picture of determination and resolve in the biggest moments. I'm so proud of her.

I can't believe we had to beat North Carolina, and then Georgia to even get to Auburn. We were match tough and dialed in by the final match. I believe that would have ended 6-1. Total domination. Just wow.

100% agree Lulu and Mia were each winning if needed. DJ was barely hanging on to service games and Lulu was up a break holding easily.

Mia would have stayed out there all night.

I felt very confident going into this match. Oddly confident.

And I still underestimated how much we would dominate!

No Mary.
No Nicole.
No Carson.
No problem.

The growth and development of Lu, Lex, Daria, Mia, and Anna was incredible. The transfers were timely and exactly what we needed, and the coaching staff did an amazing job of putting it all together. Gig 'Em!
