These moves confirm the LTIR route, as Harrison Scott and Trey Taylor will be sent back down after the final roster release, Benn will be placed on LTIR, and then they will likely call up Hryckowian or sign Erne. Maybe both. Placing Bck on IR means he will miss at least seven days from the date of the injury. Bck began practice on Friday, he will not be available for at least opening night in Winnipeg.
In the coming days, we will see the two AHLers sent back, Lian Bichsel will return, and the NHL club will either sign Erne, call up Hryckowian/Hyry, or both.
Until then, congratulations to Scott and Taylor, who were listed on an NHL opening-night roster and will make about $5,000 more per day until they are sent down. Which will either be Tuesday or Wednesday.
Alright, this helps explain things a bit.

Stars are getting as close to the cap as possible before putting Benn on LTIR. Expect Bichsel and a forward call-up.
Bรคck's injury will keep him out seven days from the time it occurred, so we'll see his status for this weekend. https://t.co/tU4MbaAcCv
for those wondering Lian Bischel is back on the Stars roster this morning on the team website and the NHL Media Site. Trey Taylor and Harrison Scott no longer are. They also only have 11 forwards healthy on the site, so another move still to be made.

Howdy y'all. Quick question from a longtime Stars fan who really doesn't follow the NHL during the offseason:
Is there a general consensus on expectations for the season? We should be pretty good again, yes?
Thanks in advanced for your replies... Let's Go Stars... and I'll go back to lurking.

What does everyone think on a scale from 1-10 on the odds of us resigning Robo? I think it's maybe a 4 right now.
We have recalled Justin Hryckowian from the @TexasStars and loaned Harrison Scott and Trey Taylor. @Shift4 | #TexasHockey pic.twitter.com/NKesuJ7rf4

There's no excuse , other than the entire team getting hurt, that we shouldn't at least be in the WCF again and that's the bottom floor. It's the Finlas or bust this season. Otter really needs to be the best goalie in the league under this contract he just got.
