Didn't see it mentioned, Abraham Quintanilla, Selena's father, passed.
I hope he finally knows peace.

My wife is originally from Connecticut and moved to San Antonio when she was a kid. One day the principal of her elementary called an emergency assembly. All the kids were brought in and she noticed a lot of the teachers and staff had been crying or were fighting back tears.
The principal proceeds to announce that Selena has died, school has been canceled for the rest of the day, and your parents are coming to pick you up. The entire auditorium erupted into shrieks and crying kids. My wife had no idea who Selena was and neither did my mother in law. They assumed she was a student at the school who had passed which was why everyone was so upset. It wasn't until they got home and saw the local news that they found out Selena was a singer and my mother in law was still so confused as to why they canceled school

Hate to hear that. He sounds like a great human being and a tragic circumstance.
Japanese golf legend, Masashi “Jumbo” Ozaki, died yesterday from sigmoid colon cancer at the age of 78. Jumbo won 114 times worldwide, including a record 94 victories on the Japan Golf Tour. He rose to 5th in the world in 1996, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.
