As promised.

2025 was a big year in death, and the death pool players made many correct selections, including: Robert Redford, (Hamas leader) Mohammed Sinwar, Gene Hackman, Judge Frank Caprio, Ace Frehley, Pope Francis, Steve "Mongo"' McMichael, June Lockhart, Val Kilmer, and Gil Gerard

We left some big names on the shelf, including Dick Cheney, Brian Wilson, and George Foreman. Unsurprisingly, no one called the murder of Rob Reiner or the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Most players (including yours truly) scored zero points, and there were some amazingly bad beats.

Wolfpac08 scored a zero despite picking a 100 year old and a 106 year old (the oldest selection in the contest, Caren Marsh, who was Judy Garland's body double in The Wizard of Oz).

wonderhill selected five celebrities who were 95 or older, and also scored zero points.

Tanya93 scored zero points, but receives special recognition for being (to my knowledge) the only player to die in 2025. RIP Tanya.

And now to the business at hand!

sonnysixkiller already earned the Black Crow (1st dead celebrity) for being the first of several players to select Hackman.

In third place for the Angel of Death is Bait Shack, with the clever pick of 49 year old Mohammed Sinwar, who was sent to his 99 virgins by the Israeli military.

In second place, Bonfired scored 63 points with McMichael and June Lockhart.

But the big winner was..

BBRex!

He takes the Angel of Death with 83 points for Val Kilmer and Gil Gerard..

And BB Rex also takes the Grim Reaper for the last dead celebrity of the year after Gerard's death on December 16!

Thank you, everyone. I promise I didn't help either one kick off. I need to think about whether I want to defend my titles or walk away while I'm on top (and above ground).

It's this recognition that keeps me from playing. I don't like losing / being last.
