Had our first 60 degree day of December yesterday and are promised our first 70 degree day today. Between that and the fact that there's nothing under the tree (Benny wanted one big present, which he got last month), it doesn't feel terribly Christmasy.

Should be a slow day at work (knock on wood) and then I'm done for the week.

More bad bowl games today. Yesterday I saw a kid from Toledo cramp up in the 78F "heat" of Boca Raton, FL. Had probably been a while since he'd played in conditions that warm.

Kids are home.

- My seeester is hoooooome! Stayed up late helping them unpack and categorize gifts to wrap and catching up and couldn't sleep after that.
- Dragging ass today.
- Running errands with sister. Need to buy a bunch of wrapping paper since I'll be wrapping everything she brought later today.
- Talked to Uncle Mark - his ACL is torn and he'll eventually have surgery. He was having serious trouble in October when he came back for the roof and he finally saw a doctor. Poor guy! He's tough as hell.

Merry Christmas Eve from the mile high city. Going up to Wyoming tonight or tomorrow morning.

Yes ma'am. It's our family recipe that has been passed down for generations. It's easy to make and you can always adjust some ingredients to fit your taste, but I keep mine simple.

I think if I drink a glass of eggnog I will gain 20 pounds immediately!

Every Christmas Mom bought Borden buttermilk for me because I hated eggnog so much. I only like Borden though, and I can't get that in Mid-Missouri.

Just went to Murdoch's and Lowe's with the wife. She ducked into CFA to get us some waters and to hit the head.

She wants to go to Costco next.

All marinaded in a Carolina vinegar sauce, no doubt.

Also, did a last minute trip to Witt's End for an overpriced but very nice denim shirt with embroidery on the front pocket and on the back and they wrapped it for me.
