If Brandon wants to monetize this site, he should let us buy back an old username and/or our Ag Tag. I would be open to negotiations on either one of those.

Staff is very courteous when it comes to unbanning old usernames with AgTags after a significant amount of time has passed. From what they told me very few permabans are actually permanent.
Email them and ask. Doesn't hurt.

Pride will never ever let them do that.
Remember, a couple of posters (or one at least) were going to fund one or two wheelchairs for Iraqi kids back when b.blauser was in Iraq working as a contractor and helping kids there.
They told Staff they would donate something like $1500-$2000 range if they would lift a perma or two.
Nope. Sorry, Iraqi parent. Keep carrying your kid forever.

What if the permas were handed out by your old high school classmate, the one that is not popular on the Tine board?

That's not pride, it's principle.
And it's not fair to put that on TexAgs staff. Letting people buy back their old usernames post abusing forum policies to the point of a permanent ban indicates that, with enough money, you can be above the rules.
Charity being conditional on WIIFM is not charity; it's marketing. And that's not charity at all.
I mean, after they let MKF back I don't know that they can stand on principle regarding abusing policies. I can't think of a bigger thing they could have forgiven.713nervy said:maroon barchetta said:fc2112 said:

Yeah, that was a big one. And there's only two people who know how that came to be and the rest is speculation. We don't know what was said or what deal was made and as a privately owned business, it's none of ours. Even if there appears a double standard.

Shocking.

Making excuses for hypocrisy.
