Hank could look really dirty to his DEA buddies if it ever gets out about Walt.

1. Hank arranged for Walt's ride along.
2. He even let Walt in to see the lab so that he could build one himself.
3. I doubt it's proper procedure to let citizens inspect active crime scenes.
4. Hank got his DEA buddies to donate money to a drug lord.
5. Hank just happened to track a 2-bit bottom level street thug to Mexico to the exact spot where Walt's rival drug lord was and then happened to kill him? Suuuuurrrrrrre.
6. Hank rejected the El Paso promotion to stay in ABQ for seemingly no reason.
7. Maybe Hank stayed in ABQ to protect Walt & feed him DEA info?
8. Maybe Hank stayed in ABQ to take down Walt's enemies, leaving Walt a monopoly?
9. Maybe those drug lords weren't gunning for Hank because he was DEA...maybe it was because he was a drug lord himself?

As viewers, we all know none of this is true. But to his fellow DEA buddies...it would look very fishy.

Just read the Wikipedia entry for Ozymandias. Walt is going to down in a spectacular ball of flames. I'm sure of it now, although the first major clue was the opening scene to episode 1 of season 5.

i think Walter overplays the "you can't come after me" angle with Hank and they ultimately have their showdown.

at shows end i think Walter for sure will be dead and there's a strong possibility Hank dies along the way too.

Walt Jr/Flynn is left enough money to hire a lifetime of personal chefs to cook him breakfast.

Spoiler question...

When Walt buys the piece from the dealer, Mike immediately notices it, even when hidden. He mentions it when they meet in the bar. But Mike didn't notice when Todd brought one to the heist nor when he met with Walt for the last time. I'm not convinced Walt didn't have it on him but the screen position left that open.

Seems like a gap in Mikes sensitive abilities.

btw..anyone else feel like if Hank does make it that him and Marie will end up adopting the baby (maybe after both parents are killed).

i feel like theres been plenty of foreshadowing pointing towards Hank and Marie becoming the new parents of Holly especially.

youre extremely over analyzing.

The main takeaway from mike spotting it was that that was walts first time to conceal a weapon.

I've only read this thread and articles linked by this thread to avoid that first episode spoiler.

The one thing I've noticed is that Marie hasn't been in any of those 55 pictures that were posted a few pages back and she also wasn't in that group picture with all the other actors and gilligan. There's a million other things it could be, stuff that I don't exactly keep up with or care about (maybe she's having a baby in real life or something... Like I said, wouldn't know or care), but my conspiracy theory is maybe she had a very small part in the last season and is actually the first person to die in the first couple episodes.

Honestly, as dark as this show has been, it wouldn't surprise me to finish the series out with everyone dead EXCEPT for Walt, and then to close the series on Walt's cough and a bloody handkerchief or something.

Watched the final 3 episodes of Season 4 last night. To me, that is when Walt finally, completely broke bad. Trying to escape, can't, has to fight, using any means necessary (Hector, the kid, etc).

Great show!!!

My theory is that

**** THEORY BASED ON A POTENTIAL SPOILER ****

Jr dies fairly early into the final episodes, based on that picture of Walt and Skyler digging that grave.

Hank and Jr are very close. If Jr dies because of Walt maybe that pushes Hank from "I can't go after Walt" to "I'm taking this a**hole down".

Also the show has made such a big deal about the security of the children. That's gota come into play as it all closes out.

Watching the "Fly" again right now.

"So you're chasing around a fly and in your world, I'm the idiot?"

"Is that your fly saber?"

Well, even if you didn't like it, the scene 2/3's the way through when Walt talks about how he lived too long was a great one.

Agreed Danny.

Crazy how controversial that episode still is. Personally I thought it was a damn good episode, if you don't compare it to the series' best.

The fly chase itself offered some insight into the characters, but I can understand people not enjoying that aspect because it was kind of goofy. However, it set up the opportunity via sleep deprivation and sleep meds for Walt to give an honest assessment of what he'd done, how it had gone further than he'd planned to where he wouldn't be missed as a result, and when the perfect time to die would have been. Then you also add the tension to where he apologizes (and nearly confesses) about Jane. Just awesome. Sums up the whole series - he started it for his family but everyone would have been better off (including the memory of him) if he'd died long ago.
