Anyone have a link to the preview for next week's episode... Freaking AMC taking advantage of DVR folks

I don't mind Gilligan so much, it's Julie Bowen being extremely annoying that making me want to punch my dog. She's horrible.

Walt called Jessie "son"

Walt is going to take out someone to save Jessie, possibly even Walter Jr.

I guess I can give Gilligan a break because he's such a freakin genius

I dunno why y'all would watch anything else other than the episode...and that includes "next week on BB" bs either.

Just wait. It sucks, but it's worth it. There is nothing better than going into a new episode of a show you love where you don't have any hints of what's gonna officially happen.

Talking Bad just sounded dumb.

His responses were appropriate to the questions he was asked. The chic practically wanted him to spill the whole finale right there. Just kept waiting for a real question!

Sounds like Talking Bad is just as bad as Talking Dead. I can't stand the host

I think the kid from FNL kills W.W. because he is starting his own business

How in the world could Walter Jr get involved with Jesse?

Aside from Jesse buying all of the worlds breakfast food for himself

I get the feeling Walt pushes Jesse too far and something drastic happens like he kills Skylar. Jesse looked like he was already on edge and Walt lying to him and playing on his emotions didn't help.

Seven good minutes (start and end) with a bunch of tired stuff in between.

They always make the end of the show so freaking intense.

I felt like the whole episode was just going to be foundational stuff to build on the next episode and then the last scene with Hank and Walt happened.

i thought it was an excellent episode. the writers are only human (although Gilligan seems superhuman at times). they can't produce season 4 quality stuff every freakin episode.

A+ from me on tonight.

It's a little weird to me that they did the flash forward reveals that show that Walt gets found out. But it doesn't really lessen the tension at all... that scene with Hank was crazy.

That's how they started the season with a flash forward of him in the car getting the guns

Any theories about what/who the ricin is for?

Walter doesn't seem like the suicide type. Cancer's taking him anyway.

My totally wild guess: the ricin is for Gretchen and/or Elliot.

I don't get what you mean. I remember the opening scene from last year.

I'm saying it's weird to me that they did that. You would think they would still be playing the "is he going to get away with it?" angle. Instead, it's "what does he need the machine gun and ricin for?"

It seems like it would lessen the tension. We're watching Walt still trying to get away with his crimes but we know for a fact he ultimately won't. Then again, if you've watched any TV shows or movies ever, you can probably guess that the drug dealing murderer isn't going to get away scot free. But if I would believe it could happen on any show, it would be Breaking Bad.

It also seems like an insane amount of story to cover in 7 episodes. But if anyone can do it they can.

Hank doesn't have anything to go on except the book. I think Hank knows it's Walt, but doesn't have any proof.

JFF - Walt parallel?

The only reasons Walt wants to get away with it right now are his family and his ego.

I think at some point, his family will be gone. Either they'll leave or they'll be killed (by him or someone else). At that point, I don't think he'll even care about getting away with it. Therefore, I think the machine gun & ricin will be used in anger or for revenge.

He has lots of enemies:
Hank
The DEA
Whatever may be left of the Mexican drug cartel
Gus' family/connections in Chile
Jesse (potentially)
Those "lose ends" that Lydia mentioned who aren't happy that Walt is slacking off
The local distributors that probably aren't happy about him slacking off
Potentially some up & coming drug kingpin looking to kill him & take over
Family/friends of any one of the dozens of people he's killed or had killed

Maybe he goes to war with them all...who knows. But I really don't think season 5b is about saving his meth empire or even survival. I think it's about revenge or war or him just being a cold-blooded murderer.

I think Walt uses Skylar's involvement to hold off Hank long enough to use the ricin on him and take him out. No one will know except Jesse will figure it out eventually.

Hank seems like he's already put a lot of the pieces together. I don't think it will be long until he puts 2 and 2 together about Jesse.
