Never gets old

Yeah, I never had an issue with the plot lines of the prequels. Just the horrible dialogue, the stilted deliveries of it, and jar jar f****** binks.
Every once in a while I'll watch the beginning of TPM and be thinking "this movie is phenomenal ..." and then Jar Jar rolls up. Those first 10 minutes of Obi-Wan/Qui-On and shady Sidious are really fun.

Now that was a pretty great trailer. I wasn't sure how I felt before about this movie but I am actually excited now

Legitimately baffles me that after 7 years without a Star Wars movie, THIS was the one they decided to come out of the gate with. A glorified, extended episode of tv.
It should have been the big climax of the entire Mando/Ahsoka/Thrawn arc, with Luke coming in to kick some ass. The Avengers style event that they were building toward.
Or, Starfighter, which at least has an incredibly hot A-lister attached that will draw in crowds on his name and reputation alone.
This was the worst choice they could've possibly made. I'm probably in the top 5% of Star Wars fandom and I can barley get it up for this movie. Hell, I almost keep forgetting it's even coming out.
This will struggle to break $500M.
Truly baffling decision by KK/Lucasfilm.

I'm not surprised Cinco is going to see it opening day and I hope he enjoys it as well.

I have been a fan since the 90s when the prequel came out (I am a 90s baby, so that was what I was exposed to), but The Mandalorian just sparked something in me. Idk what it was, but yeah. I'll be at 3 theaters opening weekend taking photos with guests, and will be seeing it probably 2-3 times.
Also, I love Grogu.
You better be married to a dude who appreciates all this!!Kate Beckett said:

Nope, my Mando all 3 days! This is what the movie is centered on, so want to have representation. Only about 50 Mandalorian characters approved across DFW.
