I liked it. Space western meets gladiator on the big screen. My kids really loved it. Much better than several of the other movies.

So I'm guessing your wife never saw any of the previous Star Wars movies? Severed arms, murdered kids, still-burning skeletal remains all come to mind.

Best part of the movie- my kids LOVING Star Wars in th theater.
Otherwise, I was pretty bored the entire time. Jabba's kids voice killed me. It was fine but I found myself ready for it to end.

Yeah the Hut speaking American English for some reason just seemed really weird. I couldn't get past it.

well...i was today years old when i learned that Brendan Wayne (John Waynes grandson) is usually the actual person wearing the actual mandalorian armor in the tv show and most recent film....
Wonder how Crowder and Wayne's paychecks compare to Pedro's…especially considering Pedro only worked when the helmet was off for all of 5 minutes and did low emote voice over work…Kate Beckett said:
And Lateef Crowder does a ton of the martial arts and fight sequences

The Last Jedi is the only Star Wars movie (not counting Mando and Grogu) that I have only watched once. I keep thinking I should watch it again because there are people who swear it is great movie, but I can bring myself to watch it again. Did anyone here watch Last Jedi and like it more the second time?

I said this at the time, but we got one of the absolute best actors in the world in Benicio del Toro in a Star Wars movie and what did we get from that? Space Fenster. So aggravating.

TLJ was a beautiful movie. Great cinematography, fast paced, some decent dialogue and some really good performances.
It was just… stupid.
For all the people constantly defending the destruction of one of the worlds biggest brands, it's probably time to hang it up.

When a Star Wars film gets passed opening week by a movie made for 750k... It's dead. The brand is dead.
Good job Kathleen Kennedy & Friends. https://t.co/SCMOEMIsh7

Whole family went tonight. I think my wife had the best response. She said afterwards that she had no idea what the movie was trying to be. She clarified further that there was too much violence/death for it to be a little kid movie and at the same time it was packed with little kid stuff start to finish. Disclaimer, she's never seen prior any of the D+ SW series.
IMO, with the big exception to Andor, she basically described all the D+ SW series.
Didn't like it. Didn't hate it. The best I can say is that the gladiator combat scene in the arena made to look like the game played on Falcon back in 77, even with the same monsters, was pretty darn cool.

I'd watch it again if there was a Slave Sigourney...I betcha she could still rock that costume ala Jamie Lee in True Lies
