Anybody else genuinely surprised they had Jey drop the belt last night? I'm happy because I hated his reign but was surprising to do it on a raw after PLE without any outside interference

Didn't have a problem with his reign but maaaaan was he overused. You could tell they had him cut down on his entrance when a match would start and he'd already be gassed lol. Just looked exhausted in general. This match was at least better than their Mania match.

Felt like it was an appropriate time to switch it back and let his character breathe (pun intended) a little bit. Surprised Seth didn't attempt last night as Gunther will be a much tougher challenge than Jey, unless he has his sights on Cena.

I'm thinking there will be a Cena/Punk/Rollins angle when Seth cashes in.

I wish they weren't shoehorning Punk-Cena into a stupid Saudi show. Feel like this should be way bigger. Imagine if Cena had done that a week before Summer Slam.

Heel Cena is good but I do think it's a long time overdue. Not a fan of it for his "farewell tour". This should be the final times he gives away shirts, wristbands, interacts with the kids in a positive way.

I'm hoping Roman Reigns vs Cena is the endgame though. Would be full circle since you could argue Cena roasting him on the mic was rock bottom for Roman (no pun intended)

The promo was nearly perfect. My only minor complaint is the use of fudging. Tip usa off ahead of time so it's on a 3 or 5 second delay and be ready to bleep it out or just don't go there. The use of fudging was lame.

Other than that, wow.

I will say I do miss more unpredictability when it comes to the world titles. The world heavyweight title has it but the WWE title has been held by 3 guys over the course of almost 4 years.

I'd love to see it change hands more often. I'm not saying every PLE, but it seemed like a certainty Reigns wouldn't lose it until a wrestlemania and same with Cody. We need more unpredictability to the WWE title

I'd love to see Punk win it in a shocker just to shake things up a bit

They're def old but I enjoyed it. Typical WWE ending, but doesn't mean it wasn't very entertaining. Will be fun to see how it plays out with Seth and the briefcase.

I do absolutely loathe these Saudi PLE's and it's pretty disappointing they're going to do the Royal Rumble here in this stupid convention center. The crowd absolutely sucks outside of stuff like Cena, Punk, Randy... although its comical watching them not react whatsoever to most of the women. That Jade Cargill interview was so awkward.


Make no mistake, they're going to do Wrestlemania here eventually. We'll have to see if the money outweighs the backlash they'll get from American fans.

Agree on WM and my guess is the hedge they'll make to salvage credibility with US will be to do WM over 2 weekends, one here and one there.

Some people have seen Stone Cold around Bryan today. Some lucky person got a picture with him at Kettle.
