Simcoe = pyscho

Simcoe is a pretty good villain so far. Took it to a whole new level of crazy by killing the horse. And his calm demeanor while be insane makes it even better.

Simcoe is a love to hate character. Probably my second favorite character after Benjamin Tallmadge or Washington.

Extremely well cast.

kind of a lame ending.

overall, way too many boring scenes with woodhull and his frumpy wife.

visually very well done, and when they were actually advancing the story (instead of adding stupid soap opera filler - presumably for female viewers) it was very cool to see how/where each of the 10 amendments to the bill of rights came from. we talk a lot today about the 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendment, but from the show you can tell why the 3rd amendment was so important to the founding fathers.

Funny how fast Abe's wife went from pro-king (burning the code book) to anti-king (cover story for the killing).

Looking forward to next season!

I don't know if it's for the female viewers but if they don't cut back on that crap, I'm done with it. I don't need a bunch of action, but this getting boring.

So, for those who made it through the season…was it worth it?

I'm catching up, and I'm not sure it will be worth my time.

it is what it is.
it doesnt get much better or worse.
it is the same percentage of boring family drama and actual revolution stuff over the last few episodes as the first few.
overall, i enjoyed it, but realistically, it wasnnt a very good show by any objctive measure.

There is no such thing as an objective measure when evaluating whether a show good or bad. I think TURN was damn good. And that the final episodes were a good climax to the season. And I'm a guy who turns off a show if I don't find it interesting. I couldn't get through Mad Men, for example. Too damn boring.

I still need to get through the last 3 episodes. Enjoyed it for a while but found it harder to stay engaged.

Finally got around to watching season 1 and for the most part enjoyed it. Like many have mentioned here I wish they would focus more on the spy stuff and less on making the "hero" an unsympathetic adulterer. There was a discussion on another board about the fact that the original plan was to focus more on the spy ring and in particular Ben. I hope season 2 does that.

So the first season is up on Netflix, and I am watching the first season. I am really enjoying the show so far, only three episodes in.

I believe the new season starts next Monday, 4/13.

I loved it. Binge watched every season as soon as it came out on Netflix.

I loved it was well. I'm a huge history nerd but don't know much on the revolution. Watched this show and got me interested in it

On Netflix? Been curious about this show and have heard good things, maybe I'll give it a try.

Would love to see a spinoff of this that focuses on the actual war and battles along the same timeline.. even pointing back to the spy ring with possibly even some cameos from them.

Great show. We watched it live so we got to experience some of the cliffhanger-waiting drama.
