She's a huge draw and they like making money.

She might only be in a single scene or even just after the credits, who knows. They'd be stupid to leave her out altogether.

completely disagree….having her in the film will serve as a perfect reminder for him of the choice he made and keeps the story compelling….

Now we obviously have no idea how long she'll be in it….its pretty safe to assume it'll be nowhere the same amount of screen time as the first 3 films….

I just hope she doesn't get captured and have to be rescued cause then we're just retreading the same tropes from before….also do we know if we're getting the story Disney wants or the story Sony wants???? Cause I really hope it's the direction Disney wants to go

I like the idea of Spidey (maybe with the Venom suit?) going full superhero, no civilian identity, and maybe hooking up with Black Cat. Kind of a bad influence. But maybe at the end of the film, after he rejects the suit and he and Felicia breaks up, he kind of welcomes back the Peter side of his life and decides to try and reconnect with MJ. So Zendaya is in it but only a few scenes, kind of from a distance.

Might be too much for one film but I also like the idea of rooming with Iceman in college, or teaming up with the Human Torch eventually. Iceman would make sense if they want to lean into mutant discrimination (so maybe Spidey 5).

That honest trailer was the first time I'd actually seen the terrible voice dubbing for the villain….holy crap they weren't kidding that was awful….

One of the reasons season three of Euphoria got pushed back yesterday, likely by a year or so, is because the scripts won't be ready to shoot by this summer, and Zendaya is busy most of the fall shooting Spider-Man. From Jeff Sneider's newsletter last night...

That would be Spider-Man 4, which I'm told is supposed to begin shooting in either September or October. The problem with Spider-Man is that Sony still doesn't have a director yet. I've heard Justin Lin was in contention at one point - and may still be - but he's just one of the names I've heard and others are said to remain in the mix.

I'm told that HBO really didn't want to wait until next year to shoot Euphoria but with Zendaya locked into another Spider-Man movie this fall, the network didn't have much of a choice, as they can't shoot the show with its star, and Spidey is a long shoot.

I'm also told that Levinson was aware of Zendaya's commitment to shoot Spider-Man this fall and that the two of them were always on the same page schedule-wise, so there's no frustration there. Levinson preferred not to rush into production this spring as he needed more time to write and he's been taking advantage of it. That said, he's also on a shorter leash at HBO following The Idol, so there's been more back-and-forth between him and the network given Euphoria's transition from high school to early adulthood.

In other words, it's not a cameo. She's shooting enough scenes to be busy for at least a couple months or so.

Either way, as others have said, it's just not realistic to exclude her from the movie, when she's one of the hottest stars on the planet right now. Considering she's willing and able, it would basically be corporate malpractice not to include her.

DanielRPK is usually pretty reliable, and definitely not a grifter or anything. That said, he's not always 100% right either, and isn't on the same level as/doesn't have the same connections as the bigger trades (Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, etc) or people like Jeff Sneider. In other words, I'm guessing this is probably true, but I'm not taking it as gospel quite yet either.

The thing that gets me is LBJ on the cover of the TIME magazine The Thing is reading in that image, which has to be intentional. It's a very real, very specific issue, set in our reality, just after Kennedy had been shot. So it's going to be super weird if this is an alternate reality, but one that's damn near identical to ours, where Kennedy was also shot and LBJ becomes President. At that point it's just, like, what's the point of the multiverse if we're not going to have fun with it and do things that are way different than our own reality?

I agree that the 60s is unnecessary. I've been saying that the whole time. Hopefully they've got an idea that makes it worthwhile - and having some of the brains behind WandaVision will help - but in general it's always felt like one of those ideas that the internet really wants for whatever reason - the supposed Peyton Reed pitch for 1960s FF. Or wanted, in this case, since it may be happening.

It's Life, not Time (I own it) and the back cover is different. Also, the magazine came out in December, so the happy Valentines Day could still be an alternate reality where Kennedy isn't assassinated, LBJ becomes president the next election and the magazine cover is from a February release after a January inauguration.

I appreciate the correct info, but I would still consider all that just as dumb. If we have to do this whole multiverse thing, I feel like all the various different realities should at least be way different from one another. Not just slight variations here and there.

edit: We also can't be quite done with the multiverse stuff if they plan more Captain Marvel/Monica Rambeau movies. Rambeau is in a multiverse dimension

The FF cartoon photo was officially created/shared by Marvel. IMO, its a very intentional image with multiple "Easter eggs"...

or Kennedy doesn't even get elected president. The 1960 primaries didn't produce a clear-cut winner. The primaries weren't like they are today, many candidates didn't enter the primaries at all and just waited until the convention to get the nomination. LBJ was the Senate Majority Leader and didn't participate at all in the primaries but was a powerful candidate at the convention.

A number of these movies shoot in London, even some of the ones that take place in the states. They're referring more to the studios there (interior sets) as opposed to the actual streets/country side of London.
