the reported budget of approximately 200 million for D&W was apparently WAAAAAAAAAAAY underplayed by disney....

now after tax breaks that changes to approximately $429 million....so if you were to factor that number down to a 50/50 split at the worldwide box office that's still a net profit of approximately $241 million....but that's also before taking into account money spent on marketing...
we don't know those numbers but it's safe to assume a bare minimum of 100 million was spent and like at least around 150 million or more a lot more reasonable for a movie like this....
so dang....it still made a profit but no where near what was initially thought....
they seem to keep doing stuff like this at what point does a publicly traded company who constantly miss reports budgets start to get in trouble for this sort of stuff?
