I realize they aren't technically DCEU but you can't discount the myriad of other DC properties on TV that add to the overall chaos and confusion regardless of the DCEU demarcation especially when you have character duplication across both DC universes.

While some of these got pretty CW'ed up there was some good story telling here notably the first couple of seasons of Arrow which was pretty kickass and CW Flash is better than DCEU Flash. Will say again that Doom Patrol is bonkers and pretty awesome if you want to watch some bizarrely crazy story lines. Also, i think they ultimately did Crisis of Infinite Earths with several of below TV shows already as well so that's already been done ahead of this reboot.

Correct. Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl. It ended up being the series finale for Arrow. I thought it was pretty cool but it's outside of my realm of DC (since I'm old and all).

Legends of Tomorrow, which is where they worked in the Atom.

Swamp Thing and Doom Patrol are my favorite recent DC shows. DC Universe had a great run when it had movies, shows, and comics instead of just comics like it is now. Really a shame Swamp Thing was cancelled. It was so good.

Titans, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, Stargirl, and Harley Quinn all started on that app.

Swamp Thing was a little slow for me but I wanted to see more there. Shame it got cancelled.

Have you watched the premier of new DP S4 yet? We have not. We thought S3 was not up to par with S1 and S2 but still mostly enjoyed it.

Im liking Titans this season better than last season minus the completely forced insertion of Robin being gay.

Tim Drake recently came out as bisexual in the comics, and is currently in a relationship with comics Bernard, so I saw that coming from a mile away.

They're also supposedly connecting Titans to Stargirl at some point this season (in the second part).

They're trying to roll in a bunch of comic stories into one season.

I'm guessing this is the last season of all of these shows with Gunn and Safran taking over and wanting to connect shows with movies.

Is Stargirl worth watching? Looks too young and female for me.

I watched it some, but the smart TV we have doesn't get the CW app for some reason. I really enjoyed what I did watch. It was fun to see the tie backs to the old JSA.

I'm confused as to why this is coming out October 2024 instead of October 2023, as there should be plenty of time to have it ready by next October. I've never heard of a movie like this, with hardly any computer generated effects, purposefully kicking off filming nearly two years before its release date.

Haven't seen Donna yet.

Stargirl season 1 was pretty good. I haven't seen any of season 2, though. Season 2 got moved to the CW.

I'll probably be there to see it opening weekend but I am having a really hard time getting excited about it

What I really want to see is a Blue & Gold movie made by James Gunn.

Blue is Ted Kord Blue Beetle (not the one from the upcoming movie) and Gold is Booster Gold. It could be a super funny buddy cop movie that I think fits Gunn's humor style. Kord is a tech CEO and is similar to Nite Owl from Watchmen (who is a pastiche of Ted Kord) with no powers but has a cool flying vehicle. Booster is a security guard from the future who gets ahold of a Legion of Superheroes flight ring and goes into the past with hopes of becoming a famous superhero (he even sells ads to put on his suit, a la the PGA tour or pro soccer jersey ads).

They actually almost made this happen with Zac Braff as Ted Kord and Donald Faison as Booster Gold on Legends of Tomorrow.

I love Booster and Ted Kord's Betle. They're mostly too old now but I used to imagine Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion in the roles, plus Adam Baldwin as Guy Gardner

I really like how she handled that. Starting off with "Sigh…" made me get the popcorn out, but I think she came across really well without throwing anyone under the bus or fueling any vitriol.

I think you tell his story leading up to the Battle of Yavin. And you obviously have a badass final mission reminiscent of Maverick, which was itself inspired by Star Wars of course.

And just for kicks, make one of Poe's parents his wingman for a little Goose and Maverick action.
