Miguel's speech to Kevin was awesome and the highlight of the episode.

This and the last scenes with Kevin and Randall were pretty amazing. Love this show, but I'm tired of crying multiple times every night we watch it.

I'm finding it harder with each episode to focus during the show while I wait for the Grim Reaper to take Jack and William.

Randall is by far my favorite character on this show. Last night was an awesome episode, and I loved the part with him up there singing with his dad.

That was pretty amazing acting last night by Sterling Brown. Next week we probably find out how the dad dies and the season finale is the funeral and moving on correct?

Last night I was thinking they wouldn't kill a dad two weeks in a row would they? Would they?????

Also the entire conversation between Beth, Randall, and the doctor was hilarious.

"You two sure are adorable"
"We know"

Also loved when Randal is meeting his cousins and apologizes for "being raised by white people"

I loved the episode this week, but I also found myself irritated that we never found out what happened with Kevin. I was so torn on how I felt when he left the play to go check on Randall. On the one hand, it was so sweet of him to actually be a brother and tend to Randall. On the other hand, he walked out on a play and left the cast and crew high and dry (here's hoping he had an understudy). Now, a week (at least) has to have passed. I'm wondering what the immediate fall out was from his actions.

In a show that goes back and forth in time, there is no reason they can't start next week with the aftermath of the play.

Does Kleenex own this show?

More and more waterworks!

And go Randall.

And die Toby.

Why die Toby? He's not my favorite and can be kind of annoying sometimes, but did he do something last night that I missed? Or was that just a general comment that's been building up?

It has been building up all season. He doesn't know when to stop or what boundaries are.

Toby is a great character. Realistic as ****.

It takes 6 weeks to film a movie? No reason why a short trip to LA would ruin their relationship.

The geography confuses me on this show.

I think he was saying that it shoots in 6 weeks, meaning they start filming in 6.

As far as Toby...I can't really stand him. He's a bit annoying with his humor. Just seems like he's a jackass who tries too hard. Last night when he asked her to talk about it, it just pissed me off as she was so happy, then you decide to ask a question and bring her back down to being sad.

And I think part of what happened to Kevin and sophie before was they thought they could handle the distance when he went to LA. Turned out they couldn't, or Kevin couldn't handle being around hot actresses more correctly. He's trying not to make the same mistakes he made before.

But the difference is Kevin has money now and it would be temporary and not as a struggling actor/model.

True, but I don't think Sophie is at the point in their rekindled relationship to give up her career, which will possibly lead to tension in the next episode.

It takes 6 weeks to shoot the average movie. That's a blip in time.

No one has to give up anything for the relationships that. . And Hollywood people should know this.

Hell yeah. And Randall continues to be my favorite character. I don't cry during shows, but I did the scene with him talking with his sister about their dad after she ran from Toby. My wife was balling like they just shot Yeller. I also let out a quiet "hell yeah" when he told his company to shove it.

I was not quiet.
My husband came into the living room to ask me if I really wanted to wake Benny up because I screamed "**** yeah!"

And seriously, this show should win at least 3 Emmy's for acting. And one for writing. And best drama.

Jack edges Randall out for my favorite character. William probably 3rd. So many good characters though.

Disappointed to see how they plan on killing off Jack. For some reason I figured the timeline would be mid to late 2000s and he'd die if an illness related to chronic alcoholism.

I don't see how they can continue the momentum of the first season. They already hit all of the major holidays the first time through. They'll have to keep coming up with Kevin-Sophie style plot twists.

Edit: Spelling.

We know they are teenagers when he does. Why would you think it was anything but an accident?

My own faulty memory probably. I haven't ever watched the first 3 episodes if it was brought up in them. In the Steelers game watching episode, for some reason I thought he dies after the Steelers won their first Super Bowl with Big Ben. I obviously misinterpreted the timeline. I was probably on TexAgs instead of paying attention.

It was a few episodes ago when they were at the funeral and they had the teenage actors at the funeral.

I think I read somewhere last week that it isn't a definite we find out how Jack dies in the finale. I don't see how they can prolong it though.
