Miguel's speech to Kevin was awesome and the highlight of the episode.
This and the last scenes with Kevin and Randall were pretty amazing. Love this show, but I'm tired of crying multiple times every night we watch it.

I loved the episode this week, but I also found myself irritated that we never found out what happened with Kevin. I was so torn on how I felt when he left the play to go check on Randall. On the one hand, it was so sweet of him to actually be a brother and tend to Randall. On the other hand, he walked out on a play and left the cast and crew high and dry (here's hoping he had an understudy). Now, a week (at least) has to have passed. I'm wondering what the immediate fall out was from his actions.
It has been building up all season. He doesn't know when to stop or what boundaries are.Gramercy Riffs said:
Why die Toby? He's not my favorite and can be kind of annoying sometimes, but did he do something last night that I missed? Or was that just a general comment that's been building up?

And I think part of what happened to Kevin and sophie before was they thought they could handle the distance when he went to LA. Turned out they couldn't, or Kevin couldn't handle being around hot actresses more correctly. He's trying not to make the same mistakes he made before.
True, but I don't think Sophie is at the point in their rekindled relationship to give up her career, which will possibly lead to tension in the next episode.Unthought Known said:ChipFTAC01 said:

But the difference is Kevin has money now and it would be temporary and not as a struggling actor/model.

Hell yeah. And Randall continues to be my favorite character. I don't cry during shows, but I did the scene with him talking with his sister about their dad after she ran from Toby. My wife was balling like they just shot Yeller. I also let out a quiet "hell yeah" when he told his company to shove it.

Jack edges Randle out for my favorite character. William probably 3rd. So many good characters though.
Disappointed to see how they plan on killing off Jack. For some reason I figured the timeline would be mid to late 2000s and he'd die if an illness related to chronic alcoholism.
I don't see how they can continue the momentum of the first season. They already hit all of the major holidays the first time through. They'll have to keep coming up with Kevin-Sophie style plot twists.

We know they are teenagers when he does. Why would you think it was anything but an accident?
