Someone also tweeted at him they were disappointed and hoped to see the Rings on TV, and he said "Keep watching", so I assume that will appear.

My guess is in the next couple of episodes we get an end to the current UN/Mars war and the back half of the season will focus on the ring gates/slow zone and the conflicts that creates (So, Abaddon's Gate sped up considerably). I'm assuming the Roci ends up their (Maybe brought there by the Investigator?), and the season ends with all of humanity basically discovering that the ring gates are portals to the thousands of other planets. Now, that doesn't exactly tie the story up with a bow, it's more open ended than anything else... but not exactly the cliffhanger we've seen in S1 and S2.

ETA: I wonder if we will get a time skip in this season following the end of the UN/Mars War? Not a big one, but maybe a few months to a year?

The "We have to talk." line and then cut to credits to end the season would be incredible, but the 8th episode of this season is called "It Reaches Out" so I wonder if we aren't going to get his appearance very soon.

Good grief. F the syfy channel. They have cancelled every show that I have enjoyed on their channel.

Another good episode. I thought it was a pretty cool detail when they had the volcano spewing ash in the background shots on surface of Io.

I was a little disappointed with the episode. "I am that guy" was the hands down highlight. I'm definitely using that line on my next Fortnite victory!?!

I was bothered with how fast the Agatha King got contaminated by a pod hitting the outer deck. 1. Shouldn't a warship have a stronger hull? 2. If if spreads that fast, how come the Roci isn't covered as they missed a spot when they were cleaning up.

The show has almost caught up to where I am in the books. So the answer maybe coming soon?

They kind of touched on it last night, but the protomolecule is learning. It may have been due to the ship(s) being dissected above Venus was a theory put forth last night. And also the Protogen stealth ship Anubis was contaminated by the protomolecule but not as badly. IIRC the protomolecule feeds off radiation, and the Anubis' reactor had been shut down.

As to the Rocinate, I don't know why it hasn't been noticed just yet. BUT... based on what I read from Syfy's preview for the next episode (which has spoilers galore), you may get your answer over the next couple of episodes or so.

Amos is becoming one of my favorite characters on tv. "I am that guy" was so awesome.

Think I'm gonna go ahead and start reading the books. Hopefully it gets picked up at Netflix, but in case it doesn't I want to know how the story ends. Plus it can definitely help me fill in the gaps.

The books are great. Fast reads.

Another great episode and the perfect tonal follow up to the last one. Where the previous episode was peak tension this was peak heart.

Agree with SP - this series has immediately jumped to the top of my book queue.

This show is too good not to get picked up by somebody in this day and age of multiple streaming media options.

It's be nice if it was Netflix since that's the only service I subscribe to. It's a heckuva lot more show than "Bright" was a movie.

Or something along those lines. Amos continues to be awesome. Also find it mildly humerous that both if the journalist people want to get into his pants. Though a close second is Drummer.

Pretty good episode overall. David Strathairn is a strong add to the shoe IMO.

Looks like Naomi and Drummer are replacing different elements Michio and Bull.

Flying through the ring was every bit as brutal as you expected. When that happens inside the ring with the Agatha King, that's gonna be messy.

as soon as they showed the sling shot guy I was wondering how they were going to show it... it did not disappoint. such a great damn show! I read the books a while back so I am trying to remember some of the smaller elements of the books in this.

SyFy is really shortsighted in cancelling this, it's a top 3 on TV right now.

Assuming Amazon does pick it up I think it's gonna work out best for all of us.

But yeah - this show just keeps keeps getting better and it's already been great.
