Agreed. It went from a solid adaptation of great source material in the first two seasons to some of the best stuff on TV right now.
Great moments:
"You went through Holden's auto-doc logs? That's a huge breech of trust Amos... what'd it say?"
Steven Strait did a great job portraying James Holden losing his mind. Really well done.
The Investigator was awesome. Doors and corners are where they get you.
Also, while I loved the book Abaddon's Gate, the story line is definitely being improved in a lot of ways, especially the way they've sped it up. Ashford's character is much more believable in the show also for some reason to me. I do hate that there is no Pa, but understand the reasoning.
Mostly, I'm excited that no matter where the season ends, we'll get more in the future. With Amazon taking over, I feel they can afford to slow things down the next season or 2, actually spending time on material from Cibola Burn (originally I thought SyFy would skip that story line altogether, but I'm not so certain now), maybe add in some stuff about Bobbie's time on Mars... lot's of potential with a dedicated "network".
