I was really struck by the differences between the bridge of the Enterprise-D and the bridges of the ships portrayed in shows like Discovery and Picard. The Enterprise-D from TNG is well lit and bright, with lots of warm colors. It gives off a very hopeful vibe, which I feel is a big contrast from the ships of Discovery and Picard, which seem to be sleek and modern and dimly lit. While I don't mind the Discovery and Picard series, they don't seem to quite have that TNG essence. Ironically, I found Seth MacFarlane's The Orville to be closer to TNG then Discovery or Picard.

I had been intending to watch Picard for a while. I've been sick this week and started binge watching. But somehow started on season 3, thinking I was on season 1. I figured that out after a few episodes and just kept going. I guess at some point I'll circle back to 1 and 2, but for now this has been great. I really stopped watching the Star Trek series after TNG ended so its been fun to dive back into those characters. But I have been a little lost of some of the Voyager context.

Looking forward to one more.

My friend from work told me the same thing. I bet if I had started season 1 or especially 2, I might never have watched this season.

Welp that was an action packed episode.

Seven is just oozing with charisma, awesome to see her finally get promoted to captain. And Jack looks like he's on the same track.

Looks like Star Trek Legacy is all but greenlit.

That was a great finale. Really glad they got Picard right in season three.

Yep, that was great.

I started season 1 when it first started. I bailed after maybe 3 episodes. But this season was full of hooks to keep me interested, and frankly was just a damn good show.

Yep that was great. Predictable but felt right. It was obvious what they had to rename the Titan but I wondered if it might be the USS Picard.

If it was named after Picard, that would probably be the first captain of the Enterprise who had a ship named after him. I don't think Kirk or Pike had a ship named after them in canon.

Not terribly in favor of the Titan being renamed though. Over all I was happy with how the season ended.

Also, isn't the Enterprise name reserved for the flagship, one of the most heavily armed and armored ship in the fleet?

Pretty sure the Titan wasn't it.

Really enjoyed this season. It's the ending that Generations crew deserved but never got on the big screen. It felt right.

Looking forward to whatever comes next with the crew of Enterprise G. It has a great cast that seems like they will get the franchise back on track. This season of Picard set the table nicely.

The F was slated to be retired/decommissioned. Who knows what new class up for the G designation next.

I thought the F was brand new and revealed on Frontier Day. So it seemed odd to me when they rechristened the Titan as G. Maybe F was destroyed in the battle?

There have been three USS Archer's in canon: Strange New Worlds, Nemesis, and Picard all had an appearance of the USS Archer. The USS Archer mentioned in Strange New Worlds is an Archer-class starship.

Liked that the last scene was them playing poker - the same scene they ended ST:TNG with.

What happened to the queen from the last episode? Was she the same queen from this finale?

I liked the season but can't get over that the writers went back to the borg as the villain; same **** different season

Yeah, us fans going crazy over the presence of the TNG and Voyager cast sort of covered up the weird plot. Including Jack willingly going to the queen.

A very nice ready room episode. Asking Jeri how's it like to be Captain, what was it like rebuilding the Enterprise bridge, etc

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but, the last episode of The Ready Room where WW visits the rebuilt Enterprise D bridge was awesome.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

Pretty sure it was stated in an earlier episode that the F was slated to be decommissioned early. Memory Alpha's citation says its from the premier episode.

This! Loved the finale! And the post-credit scene leaves open the prospect of a season 4 that would feel like a true new chapter.

It would be a separate, new show called Star Trek: Legacy. Just needs the green light from Paramount. And with Picard being a top ten streamer this year, it is probably just a formality.

I think right now they have 3 shows in the pipeline, excluding animations: Strange New Worlds, a new Starfleet Academy series, and the Section 31 movie.

Assuming Starfleet Academy will be a low budget one with new actors, I hope that leaves room for a Star Trek Legacy show.

Also curious how they'll intertwine the TNG actors with the new, next next generation. Although Seven and her crew will be the primary focus I'm sure.

I don't have much hope for Starfleet Academy. It seems interesting on paper/in theory but they missed the boat for that show with Nog and how his arc coincided with the Dominion War arc or O'Brien showing up as a professor.
