That line makes me think of Douglas Adams stuff (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series)...thats a good thing.hunter2012 said:Another Doug said:
As a Doug, I like this line from the new bookQuote:
Once a society reaches peak Doug, it's time for it to go sit in the corner and think about what it has done.
IMO, the first book was a bit harder to get into at first. Then about halfway through it was getting better, and I enjoyed the next books a lot moreDies Irae said:
Did anyone hear find themselves unable to get through the Wax and Wayne portion of Mistborn? I loved the "original" mistborn, but have tried twice and haven't made it 30 pages into the first Wax and Wayne book, but I've heard they're becoming fairly important int he universe.
Yep, agreed with this. I wasn't initially as into W&W as much as the Mistborn stuff, but by the 2nd I think I was bought in for sure.Definitely Not A Cop said:
I feel like W&W gets progressively better with each book. The last one (just released a few months ago) in particular is awesome. The first two feel more like popcorn reads.

What are your thoughts on Warbreaker?

Some folks find it helpful to switch series, then come back to era 2. It's a very different scale than era 1. The character work is amazing though.

You have to be quite the nerd to get that meme.
Also, wth Texags? I have had pictures of guitars blocked for being a sensitive image, yet they allow that?
