Bear is such great TV. He will be on the Challenge for as long as he wants. Hes also not as dumb as he comes off.

Bear is the best thing on TV in decades.

I'll get the con out of the way, but the actual elimination was a little underwhelming. Jordan playing through the injury showed how much drive he has, but watching Fessy man handle him was a little hard to watch. I also wanted Bear to put up more of a fight. Or maybe I was disappointed in the fact that Bear is gone and the source of so much entertainment is gone

There were so much to enjoy in the episode though. The actual challenge was a showcase in each of the players personalities. Nelson getting stuck in there with a plan only to lose, Bananas finding the spot in the corner to watch, but ultimately Wes outsmarting everyone adding to his ego. Then to have Wes bring in Bananas into the Tribunal was a nice touch to their storyline. I honestly enjoy these two getting along. I was watching older seasons on mtv.ca and seeing the progression of these two has been so much fun.

Nelson... if you are in an alliance with everyone, you are in an alliance with no one. Hilarious to watch that entire nomination cycle unfold.

With Bear now gone, Big T will have to fill in the void with her antics. Her repeating everything was just hysterical. Fresh Cotton Pads!

The Tribunal Deliberation just served to show that Josh might be the most annoying person on the show. It's that scene with Don Draper and Ginsberg in the elevator. Wes does not think about you at all, Josh.

Again, actual Purgatory was kinda wack. Freak on a Leash was a nice touch though. I said it before, but the music this season has been on point.

Bear is comedy gold, sad to see him go. Nelson is the dumbest person to maybe ever be on The Challenge but he's pretty spot-on with his analysis of Kailah.

Sucks to see Jordan go in that way, but he's a top 3 challenger of all time so I agree with Wes & Bananas.

Love Jordan's (maybe subconscious) dig at Josh when he said "Fessy is huge and knows how to use his weight". I hate Josh.

I'd have Hunter dumber than Nelson, but Nelson thinks he is a genius and I think Hunter knows that he isn't very smart.

It seemed like Bear was scared to be there before they even called his name. He didn't seem into that game at all.

You could tell that everyone felt bad about voting Jordan in and seeing him go down that way, but that was their chance, so they had to.

Bear seemed to be a scrapper in the eliminations on prior seasons. He let Nelson get his head down both times and it was over. I expected better strategy from him.

Been a solid season. I can't stand Nelson.

RIP Bear.

Fessy is a monster. No one beats Fessy in that comp.

Worst comp for Jordan to have to do against the worst person to face.

I would have loved to have seen Jordan go up against Kyle or Sw**** or Bear or someone weaker in that challenge. I still think he would have lost, but it would have been interesting to see.

Losing Bear, Jordan and Tori in 2 weeks is no fun. Great season so far tho.

Nelson is so dumb but he is good tv. With all these big personalities gone the newbies need to step it up!

I was surprised nothing more was said about Bananas being able to see the colors flashing. I mean, could everyone see it but he's the only one who noticed? Is it not cheating because it is a flaw in the design? Why couldn't they re run the daily with that flaw fixed?

Big T is hilarious

Bear was toast the second they said his name. He was not mentally prepared to go in, and while Bear looks like he is in decent shape, the workout montage from earlier in the episode shows that Nelson is stacked.

I'm really looking forward to the inevitable scramble when TJ announces that there are only X number more chances for a red skull.

I was surprised Wes or Bananas didnt want to go in against Nelson. Nelson is pretty stacked, but is horrible at eliminations and challenges. It seems like their strategy is to not go in to the eliminations and see what happens as the show progresses. It seems like mostly everyone who has wanted to go in and get the red skull has been eliminated.

I know why Wes voted in Bear, they didnt get along the past 2 seasons. But why not join Bananas and vote in Corey to go against his friend Nelson? Bear really poses no threat to anyone in the game, and you instantly break up the Corey/Nelson alliance by making them face off against each other. Plus you get rid of a strongish competitor and earn the good graces of the girl trio for saving Bear.

Agreed, Bear's head wasnt in the game this season. He was more focused on getting with Kailah and nothing else. Surprising because he was like this in past seasons with the other blonde British girl, but this season he seemed head over heels in love with Kailah. She is definitely not the type of girl to get involved with in these challenges lol.

The 'Pluto' app has a bunch of mtv and vh1 'channels' and one of them is a challenge channel that shows old seasons 24x7.

Its a free app with commercials, and you can't pause, ffwd or rewind, but its kind of fun to throw it on in the background after watching 5 or 6 office episodes on netflix.

5 or 6 years ago they spent a lot more time in the bars. It was sad/funny seeing Nany sleep with 3 dudes per season and see Aneesa try and c0ckblock drunk Nany in 2014, 2016, and this week in 2020. Also, big shock, Zach has always been a gaslighting ass.
The final Diem and Knight season was on yesterday. RIP, Diem.

I agree. From a gameplay perspective, putting in Cory made way more sense than Bear. I get why they wouldn't want to do a wrestling/strength elimination against Nelson. That would have been dumb IMO to throw themselves in.

Yes josh is very annoying, but I tolerate him because he gives everyone else someone to make fun of in the private interviews. I also love that every time wes ignores or shrugs him off, he is clueless.

-It's funny to see Johnny be somewhat nurturing this season. His friendship with Big T, him trying to get Jenna's head back in the game, and him hyping up Aneesa are things that are a little refreshing from a pot stirrer like him. He is somewhat of a Loki esque character in that you know he is a villain, but he has a charm to him that is undeniable.

-Sw****... you have a life vest on. You will be fine. And turn that helmet around.

-Josh is an all time dummy and I hope he gets invited back every year to get dunked on. Dude talks a big game, but has never won an elimination. Imagine the waterworks if that happens.

-With Bear gone last week and Kailah voluntarily going in, you have to think she wanted to try and catch that same flight with Bear for... some sightseeing. Kaycee demolished her. Aneesa surviving Jenna makes me think Aneesa still has something left in the tank. Would love for her to get a win and ride off into the sunset since she has been doing this for 18 years (her Real World season happened during 9/11. That fact still ****s me up). But with Jenny and Kaycee around, I don't think that happens.

Women left: Aneesa (RS), Nani, Jenny (RS), Dee (RS), Kaycee (RS), Mattie, Melissa, and Bayleigh

How many people are going to run this final? Last season they had 12 total, then wittle that down to a 4 v 4 matchup. Some easy people to pick off who won't make the final are Josh, Sw****, Melissa and Bayleigh. Nani might get protection from the Vets. Unfortunately, I don't see Bananas and Wes both making, but I'm holding out hope.

As for the Red Skulls, Wikipedia currently lists 11 total episodes and we've had 8 so far. This would be a short season as the last four seasons have had between 14 & 20 episodes. But it could be just one more double elimination episode for each sex and that would be around the right numbers for a final.

I feel like every player takes on a different persona every season. I didn't like Jordan in the last challenge but I really liked him this time around. I was kind of sad to see him go. He didn't deserve that fate and I can't believe they gave Fezzy a free ride to the finals. That's atypical of allowing a rookie to reach the finals.

I think it's more that Jordan is one of the best Challengers of all time AND he's not well liked in the house.

The last episode was AWESOME. Although the elimination was a bit of a let down.

What was Wes thinking putting himself in against Bananas?? He could have waited until the next go round and try to go against Josh or Kyle. Plus if Wes wins then he loses the key member in his alliance. I think Wes' ego got the best of him and he wanted to take out Bananas and be seen as the best challenger of all time.

I see what you're saying and I think thats exactly what Wes was thinking. But I think there is a good chance that either he, Bananas, Rogan, or Dee would win the next challenge, get in the tribunal, and vote Wes in against a lesser competitor. Tough spot for Wes to be in especially with Bananas voting himself in without consulting Wes first. Smart move by Bananas because he knew Wes would want to go in.

TJ saying "F*** yeah!" when announcing Bananas vs Wes is an all time Challenge moment.

Wes had to risk it. He may never get the chance again. The real problem is all the other men just giving Bananas a shot. F that! Make him win and vote himself in. He tanked a challenge and they still let him in. Bunch of wussies...

So many of them are still playing a scared game. Perhaps they figure they wont win a final and just want to stick around as long as possible to maximize their tv payout. All those guys who gave bananas a free pass to nominate himself will be kicking themselves when they dont win the challenge the next week and their chance to go in is gone.

Bananas said it at the end, but I wish they could have come together earlier. I enjoyed them as rivals, but always thought some of these guys would do great if they would just team up. Of course, they are probably friends or at least friendly outside of the show, but have to put on the rival face during the show because they know how they make their money.
