I've wondered why they didn't team up in the past few seasons they've been on where they were the only old guys (along with CT). I'm sure there was a lot of animosity from prior years, but like Mr. Blowfish sang, sometime it takes Time to heal old wounds.

I definitely think Johnny outsmarted Wes this week.Like cajun said below, the other competitors are morons for letting him throw himself in without forcing a vote. Everyone is playing the game so stupidly. Wes made a poor move the previous guys week when he threw in Bear against Nelson rather than Cory.

In hindsight, it's easy to say that Wes made a dumb move by going to face Bananas. But then again Bananas isn't the same dominant player he once was. Each one of these veteran players understand that these challenges are all about ratings and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that was a plotted plan between Wes and Bananas.

Wes also understands that if Johnny were to lose in the elimination, his chances don't look good in choosing who he is going up against in the next voting. Ultimately, I think he just wanted to control his own fate rather than have it chosen for him.

Who is the weakest male left? Not a ton of layups. Maybe on a puzzle he has a big advantage but Kyle and Sw**** are both big atheletic guys. Nelson is dumb but hes done well in some challenges. Josh is the weakest link but he isnt a total schlub. Rogan is a horse.

This has been a fun season. I hope they keep this format.

Id also like to mention how great TJ is for this show. Hes exactly what they need as a host. Hes funny as hell and he knows these people well enough to take shots at them and make it fun.

Wes/Bananas joining forces was a great wrinkle this season. I can get behind Wes letting his pride get in the way this week and also having a producer hat on and giving us what we want (even though it's way overdue). I also think Wes didn't want a physical elimination and saw his opportunity to win a non physical elimination.

If it is 100% physical, Corey can be ok. However, he has been eleminated early in both the main show and the champs vs stars spin off due to choking in a few eliminations.

As great as it was seeing Wes and Bananas team up this season, it's also bittersweet since they were the last truly great rivalry on the show. What other good rivalries are on the challenge now? Can't really think of any besides a few petty ones here and there.

Kyle vs. Cara/Paulie is a fun one. Although, this season has been fun minus Cara/Paulie, so I think I can live with them.

Theo (who now only has one functional eye, but he is trying to make a comeback) didn't get along with Rogan last season. Think he also had bad blood with Paulie.

Bear might be the current most interesting character on the show. I think everyone kinda likes him though, so I don't think he has any rivalries.

Complete side note, but I caught a little bit of The Duel 2 on Pluto the other day and I hope they bring that format back where whoever gets called into the elimination can call out someone to go against (minus whoever won the daily).

Last episode was great as usual. Crazy how basically the entire house turned on Dee so fast. She does seem like a pretty shady person but she's a great competitor, can't bet against her. Why does Rogan keep screwing her over?? She seems like a pretty good ally to have and a good chance she makes it to the final and helps him out in some way.

I actually thought it was a weirdly edited episode. I'm assuming it bc they had a lot more storyline dedicated to Dee and they cut it (along with her confessionals) at the last minute. The episode was 30 min shorter than usual.

She is a strong competitor, so I agree, I'm not sure why Rogan turned on her or when her and Johnny had a fight. I'm guessing next week is the last week of Purgatory.

I thought the same thing. I figured they would go more in depth on how Dee was feeling about Rogan backstabbing her and then eventually winning. But it makes sense MTV cut it short due to the backlack from Dee's tweets.

Unless there are some contract details where cast members get paid based on confessional? I know they get a weekly appearance fee, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's why they decided to go with this edit. I was hoping Dee would lose so we don't have to worry about weird edits like this. It was pretty funny that they used confessionals that just trashed Dee. Bananas might get a hero edit if he continues his beef with Dee.

Wow after watching that missing 15 minutes, MTV really did a disservice to the fans of the show. That could've been a way better episode if they just left those 15 minutes in. I know MTV is trying to be woke during this BLM movement, but I bet most fans of the show aren't even aware of what Dee did and being kicked off the next show.

With the way some of these people are playing the game, you have to wonder if production is telling them there will be more rounds. Why on earth did Josh not want to volunteer himself? Did he know he didnt have enough votes to go up against Cory? He sure as heck didnt have the votes to win over the tribunal with Bayleigh wanting Sw**** to get a shot and Dee being pissed at him (not that we got to see Dee's thought process due to the re-edit.)

I thought that was weird too. Why was josh so against volunteering himself during the house vote, then he's happy he was chosen as one of the 3 by the tribunal and then wants to get thrown in? Makes no sense. I think it was weird editing by MTV and they probably left a lot out.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here but wow the editing sucks by mtv now that they're trying to edit Dee out. It's obvious what they're trying to do and it really messes with the story line and flow of the show. The new drinking game on Twitter is to drink anytime they show Dee's face lol. I saw this somewhere that Rogan was relieved when his name wasn't on the list by the tribunal, so there must've been
some convo Beforehand with Dee and him that was left out.

The cast for the end of this season is pretty bad. The Brits were a good edition and Are You the One people are okay, but BB is terrible. Doesn't help that Dee is probably a top 3 storyline player at this point and they completely eliminated her screen time.

Yes, Josh and Kyle need skulls. The guys should have been doing everything in their power to throw in Fessy every time since he's by far the best athlete. The strategy on this season has been pretty poor besides from Bananas.

If the guys are smart, they should make it Fessi vs Josh in the next Purgatory. You get rid of Kyle who can be sneaky good in a final as it is mostly just keep your head down and run with some games and puzzles thrown in. If Josh beats Fessi, then you eliminate the top physical talent remaining while getting to compete against Josh in a final.

With only a few more episodes left, I can see the following happening. I don't know how many episodes are left for sure, but last season we got 16 episodes and 1 reunion episode. The preview for the rest of the season did look like it had another Male elimination, so maybe it's a longer season than normal.

The seasons have been between 14-20 episodes lately, and I agree that the preview made it look like we have a guys Hall Brawl coming. Seems like they will get too many people for the final 5/6 guys and girls, but then do a mini elimination before the traditional final. Johnny and Jenny made comments about keeping their skulls in the preview.

I'm not so sure this new format is more entertaining than other challenges in the past. The whole Dee thing is getting annoying because we all know they're leaving valuable interactions on the cutting floor and it's put a damper on the whole show. She's the elephant in the room that they don't want to acknowledge yet she's a red skull owner and so far has a ticket to the final.

I see now that the climax of this season has been the Wes vs Bananas showdown. Too many rookies and 1st timers that we really don't know or care about are still playing in the game. I hope they go back to the Rivals or Battle of the Exes format for the next show.
