We see celebrity deaths every year. Sometimes they're shocking, sometimes they aren't, sometimes I'm sad that I'll miss the fruits of their talents. For me, this one hurts in a different, more connected manner for some reason.
Kobe was shocking, but understandable in the way tragic accidents occur suddenly.
