Harland Williams in Rocketman (Disney version that is apparently locked in the vault forever)

His greatest comedic performance I would say.
He's great!

But in Rocketman, I wonder if they even had a script for Harland, it always seemed like we were watching The Harland Williams Improv Show. And he hit it out of the park with me.

Guy that plays Ted Mosby in HIMYM. Don't even know his name, and I doubt he's been in much. The mother has had a better career.

He's worked consistently since that show ended. He just hasn't been on a show that made it. Not neccessarily his fault.

And he doesn't ever have to work again if he doesn't want to as he was making $5mm per season the last few seasons.

I was honestly convinced that I was the only person who remembered that movie was a thing

Ryan Reynolds in Buried, and maaaaybe Deadpool 1. I think Deadpool got by on being a novelty among superhero movies though.

pffffttttttt.......first of all DP and DP2 were both great better than most superhero movies. Top 5 for me above most MCU and all DC movies.

Ryan Reynolds was also great in

The Proposal - it's a romcom but he is awesome
Just Friends - classic comedy
The Hitman's Bodyguard - great as the contrasting foil to Samuel L.
Life - very well made
Mississippi Grind - obscure movie opposite Ben Mendelshon but he was great too

He's admittedly been in a lot of bad movies. but he doesn't belong on this list.

Ryan Reynolds does NOT come close to making this thread. Waiting is legendary - quite literally anyone that has had a job in the food service industry can identify with it. Van Wilder is the same for frat bros.

Waiting is great, but anyone that hasn't worked in a restaurant won't get it.

Heath Ledger as The Joker. I thought he was mostly a mediocre actor who mostly did Romcoms, and had an okay role in The Patriot. He knocked it out of the park in The Dark Knight though.

Jesus Christ this is a horrible take

So this is more of a less known actor. For all I know, he could be a stud in Broadway or something. But, I'm rewatching Turn right now, and the guy who played Judge Woodhall (the protagonist's father) did a really great job. I freaking hated that guy through most the series. Then he watches his son getting hanged and his face is so gut wrenching. Now I realize that I have been subconsciously hating the actor because of the character he played. That's good acting, imo.
