Man.....almost every one is hard for me - at least between 2 moments. Damn this show had a lot of moments. Yes there are some spares but a lot of tough choices too.

But THIS...THIS is impossible.....I mean....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

This is why for prelim rounds like this instead of random groupings of 4 I like a full pool of 160 and you chooses 40. then take the top 64. Let's me vote for all 4 of those above. Now I have to rationalize some choice here.

Also I agree with earlier poster that edited it - Red Wedding better as one moment - broken into components it loses its full impact.

Pretty spread out voting so far. Based on the other tournaments I've run, it takes about 20-22% of the vote to get into the Round of 64. Some of the groups are a bit stacked, as Dr. What's his face mentioned in his since-deleted tirade. But in my experience if it's a worthy contender, it's going to get in, and if it gets cut, it probably wasn't going to get far anyways.


As of right now, among 160 entries we have:
12 entries between 50-59%
9 entries between 60-69%
3 entries between 70-79%
1 entry over 80%

That's only 25 total - so 39 spots remain that are less than 50%.

Regardless, it was by and large a marvelous series, and going through the list of moments to narrow it down to 160 only confirms that.

This made me realize that as much of a storytelling mess the last two seasons were, there are still a whole lot of great moments in them. Felt like a lot of the moments came from there.

I'm in the middle of my first rewatch since the series ended. I just started season 5 today. I get depressed just thinking about season 8 again.

That one wasn't hard for me. The entire series basically hinged on Ned Starks beheading and everything that followed was related in some way.

Looks like my 2 favorite scenes aren't even going to make the damn cut.
