Same here. One of the things I appreciate about Asimov's writing is his efficiency with his prose. Foundation is close to being a screenplay as is. That's in stark contrast to Herbert, of course.MosesHallEnforcer said:
Have you read the books? This series and Dune are 2 of my favorite sci fi series.

Agreed. Structure spoilers - It's more of an anthology of loosely connected stories than a single through plotline.NoHo Hank said:
I don't know that I'd say Foundation is unadaptable. The story is on a truly enormous scale but ... (adding spoiler if you don't want to know about the book structure - no actual story spoilers below)
the time jumps between Seldon events actually sets up the story nicely for individual episodes that aren't rushed, especially if some of the events are two parters.
Anyway, it's a great series and I am really pumped to see how the series handles the content. Could be really awesome. I'll definitely be watching.
I can honestly say that the "most enjoyment for the buck" streaming subscriptions we have are Apple TV+ and Disney.rednecked said:

if you are nervous or unsure about #Foundation on @AppleTV let me calm your fears. I've seen the first 8 episodes and they're fantastic. The first few episodes start streaming this Friday and they are absolutely worth your time. Trust me. pic.twitter.com/EIHddB34ok

Apple’s brainy new epic isn’t just 'Game of Thrones' with math. It’s something bigger.#Foundation @Foundation_ https://t.co/bsPgiJ6Mjx

Foundation could have easily been a disaster. Miraculously, it’s not. Not only does the series avoid most of the pitfalls of its source material, but it also manages to be faithful to what made Isaac Asimov’s complicated novels so great. https://t.co/4BrLH8lA6O

‘Foundation,’ the Apple TV+ adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s classic stories, adds new characters, romances, and rivalries, but the end result falls flat. Alan Sepinwall’s review https://t.co/gSxLbzKl16

The Apple TV version of #Foundation tries its best to inject humanity into Isaac Asimov's philosophical sci-fi epic, but the results suggest those who called the books unadaptable were right. My review: https://t.co/HOou2FsKmD pic.twitter.com/3BTYm2ytmw

Apple TV+'s "Foundation" is gorgeous and tedious, but oddly not in the way you'd expect the Isaac Asimov adaptation to be tedious. My review: https://t.co/XgaJnBGM60
