Pretty good episode. I guess they are going with the Laconia story line. But only three episodes to wrap up the series?

I saw an article yesterday from a news source I did not really trust; couldn't track it down to a real site, but apparently there is going to be an Expanse movie? Anybody else see that?

Starting to feel like the last couple of episodes are going to be extremely rushed. This felt like an earlier season pacing wise, a bit slower than other episodes this season.

I agree. They're not going to be able to do much with the Laconia storylines except set them up and hope someone comes along later to finish them.

The stuff on Laconia I just expect no payoff. The in system stuff with Inaros just seems like they won't be able to adequately wrap up those storylines in 2 episodes.

Yes, knowing the reason for showing the intros, it seems like a movie to cap it all off after the sixth episode is more and more likely.

After this season there's 3 more books left. If it's to finish Babylon's ashes I could see that but from my memory this episode is tracking to the late middle of the book. There's not too much left for this book.

I believe I read somewhere there was a spin off series and a movie coming.

I don't think we're gonna get a very good ending for the show, sadly. Just going to be way too rushed.

Holy hell what an episode. Some of those scenes were absolutely electric. Draper/Amos probably most of all.

Awesome episode. Drummer/Naomi was really well acted. I couldn't tell if there were any changes to the little boy in the opening due to the lighting. Was he gray? A lot of character development with Drummer's family.
It will be interesting to see if the last episode is more than an hour. I don't see how they can wrap up the Marco arc in the usual episode length.

Agreed. I feel like they're going to need a 2 hour finale to wrap it all up. Just too many moving parts at this point.

I enjoyed the episode. Felt like we got a lot out of seeing Avasarala and Drummer in this episode with the payoff being their cooperation towards a common goal. To me, that was a moment seasons in the making.

I actually don't think wrapping the Marco arc would be that hard compared to like... the Laconia scenes.

I don't really understand why we've dedicated so much time to that if there's not more coming.

It's kind of meta, but you can tell that the characters were performing for the cameras.

Yeah, it was definitely stages for the people but the fact it happened and Avasarala's admission to Jim even if it wasn't entirely genuine/self interest motivated, was probably one of the more real moments we have had from her since Arjun died.

Damn that was a powerful final scene. Drummer is one of my all time favorite characters. Her growth and story arcs is one of the best.

And I can see why she has a thing for Michio.

This is kind of how I feel and I haven't read the books. Guess I'll go start them.

I enjoyed the finale and think it wrapped up the Earth, Mars, and Belt stories adequately. I do feel like the Laconia characters and story not being explored further due to obvious constraints was a let down.

Amos and Draper doing their storming of the rail guns was pretty cool. It echoed the initial entrance of Draper when her MMC team were doing their training mission. Even though we didn't have as much character spotlighting (for lack of a better description) this season, I felt like the small bits we did get nudged the characters enough that where they ended up in the right places at the end.
