Great start

A random dude breaks into Larry's house at night but trips and drowns in his pool while leaving. Now Larry has to deal with being out of compliance on the pool fence and being extorted by the dead guy's relatives

Dan from Veep is a Netflix executive that greenlights Larry's show idea immediately (and Young Larry sounds like a great plot)

Albert Brooks (super Dave's brother) has a living funeral for himself - because it's not right that people only say nice things about you when you're dead

Jon hamm is back

Early onset dementia humor. Larry's girlfriend loses all sexual feelings for him when he walks into a glass door and may be showing signs of old age. Dude owes larry money but plays the dementia card

They had the clear window next to the glass door and showed several of the women auditioning going through the door with the window in clear sight to the point where I was like "welp, that's the joke right there, she's going to blow the audition and smack the window" and put Larry in an even more awkward spot of saying she was great.

However, they didn't go that route. I wonder if they filmed it and thought it was too obvious a joke and decided to go for the fake out instead (although that isn't very characteristic of the show).

This show. Comes and goes from my life so sporadically, but when it's back I'm here for it.

Cheryl Hines popping up out of nowhere to give LD **** about his towels made me laugh out loud harder than I have at anything in awhile.

I hate nitpicking Curb, because it's almost always an entertaining watch regardless, but I straight up don't understand the Maria Sofia plot line/Larry's dilemma. He has an ungodly amount of money. A backyard pool fine is nothing to him. It's pocket change. So why is he willing to sabotage his show not to pay it? Especially since the show getting picked up would ultimately make him even more ungodly amounts of money? Everything else this season has been hilarious, even the pitch meetings, until Maria Sofia's name comes up.

I don't get it at all.
