I'm really struggling with the newest season of Doom Patrol. I've got one more episode but it's been such a chore to get through. I loved the first season, I thought the second was decent, but this one is just boring and I don't care at all... Robot Man is the only thing I even slightly enjoy at this point. Well, that and April Bowlby is one of the hottest women on the planet.
Maybe the novelty has simply worn off, but the show is just so all over the place and meandering. It's fallen into my category that "weird as hell" doesn't automatically mean it's clever. Which seems to plague a lot of shows these days.

It's early, but Frasier is definitely the current front runner.
It's also no coincidence that his movie premiered/his Oscar campaign began the very same weekend as our season.

The only thing that bums me out is that he and Austin Butler can't both win it.
If it means the difference between us winning a natty this season or not, Austin Butler will just have to make do with being a massively talented actor, beloved heartthrob, and his current girlfriend, the model daughter of one of the most famous supermodels of all time.
For those who didn't watch the most recent season of Doom Patrol....Fraser is HUGE.

Surely there's no way beating both Alabama and Georgia would be undone by a single App State loss? Not to mention having potentially four other top 25 wins.
Remember, we're Texas A&M. They put in a Notre Dame team that lost by 4 touchdowns the day before selection and an Ohio St. team that played 4 less games than us. App St. would be plenty of reason.TCTTS said:

Saw The Whale tonight at SCAD Savannah Film Festival. Very powerful movie. Huge acting reach for Fraser and he was great. He'll deserve whatever accolades come his way. Supporting cast was excellent. Filmed in 4:3, but I guess wasn't that odd since entire movie takes place in Fraser's apartment.
Can't wait to watch it.

Theatrical run first (December 9th), then streaming eventually. Probably not 'til late January or so.

I honestly don't have a clue what this movie is about and I want to keep it that way. I can't wait to see it and hope it's great. It's odd but after reading some articles about why he went away I guess I'm just rooting for him.
And the Mummy is probably my favorite guilty pleasure fun movie.
