I think there is room for some big budget action movies like the mummy again. Just a fun action movie, where there is no moral to the story, or social commentary. Hard to not be happy for a guy like Brendan. I've heard him say in interviews his body is pretty beaten up, so I dont know that we will get any Mummy like movies from in the future, but I hope this means we get to see him in some more good roles going forward.
Just got back from seeing The Whale and damn, that was one of the most thought provoking movies I have seen in years. Fraser was magnificent. I will be thinking about whether his character was redeemed or hopelessly selfish, for the longest time.

I saw his panel at Boston Fan Expo a few years ago. Came across as a super nice guy and very genuine. Happy for him that he won.
