I always enjoy checking out the live action shorts and documentary shorts. Many are on Netflix and/or YouTube.

Just watched "Queen of Basketball" - about Lucia Harris, 70's basketball star and "The Dress" - about love and intimacy from a perspective few of us experience (it's super). I'll make my way further down these lists later -

I haven't seen any of the movies listed for BP but I did enjoy watching The Last Duel recently and thought it might get a nod.

Man, The Green Knight was the best, come on Hollywood.

I really enjoyed Belfast.

King Richards is a great film. Only saw that and Dune out of the BP nominees.

Yeah I'm just a caveman, but with the abundance of nominations for all the technical categories, I would assume that means the Director of Dune would be somewhat tied to all of that and also get the nomination. I'd be curious to hear the explanation as to why Dune would get nominated across the board but excluded from director.

"Being the Ricardo's" actually got nominated for some categories!? Awful movie. Nicole Kidman at least did a good job of playing Lucy. I thought Javier was average at best playing Ricky.

Maybe the network won't show it like that other show…you know racism and stuff!!
