Some of you are really missing out or have very unusual standards. Those are the standards on movie and TV.

I cannot even imagine saying "I haven't watched it but I'm sure it sucks" to the greatest film of all time. Some people might just think a film made in the 70s doesn't hold up to today's standards and it very much exceeds today's standards .

I haven't really enjoyed most movies I've seen in the last twenty years, but that could be due to depression. But I would have to put the Marvel/DC movies at the top of my list.

I've never liked these movies. They're very poorly cast aside from Alan Rickman (Emma Watson sucks at acting, but not nearly as bad as Daniel Radcliffe), and everything about the plot and pacing is terrible. It's like they decided to take important plot points from the books and cram them together without any kind of real development at all. If you hadn't read the books, the movie was basically, "Wow, that was super convenient," or, "Where did this all come from?"

If we're counting shows, I couldn't stand the Office growing up. It was likely that I have the same dry sense of humor and people lauded the show and would turn around and wouldn't get my jokes. Talk about infuriating as a college student.

Quite a few people on here who no longer deserve to be citizens of the USA.

Off the top of my head I will say Superman 2. It's complete trash and unwatchable.

I will also say I've recently discovered upon rewatch that Blade Runner did not hold up for me. It's visually stunning even to this day, but it was pretty boring.

The Big Lebowski is a perfect example of a movie being lesser than the sum of its parts. The Dude is a great character and Jeff Bridges totally nails it. Walter is one of my favorite Coen brothers characters and John Goodman totally nails it. The whole thing just never really comes together for me, though.
