New Gojira single

These guys are my latest obsession. Didn't know who they were when they were announced as the opener for Arctic Monkeys US tour. Cut to a week later I now own their last two records on deluxe edition vinyls.

Devin never disappoints.. I don't know how this guy can put out the quantity he does, across so many genres, and everything at such a high level.
This is as radio friendly as he gets. A shame it will never be heard by the masses.










Album out nov 4.

As a result of this thread I ended up on Rick Beato's YouTube channel today because he had a video on new music he is listening to.

It was really cool stuff. Very different than what I normally seek out but I liked it.

Video is gone. Must have been taken down. I hope he will edit out whichever part had the rights or permissions issue and put it back up.

I'll have to give this album another go. Wasn't into it much when it released but didn't give it much of a chance either tbh. I loved their earlier stuff and was enough of a purist at the time to dismiss the new one pretty readily.

And if anyone happens to be into Deathcore, 2022 has been an amazing year.

Been obsessed with Lorna Shores new album. Pain Remains.

My favorite song so far from it. Not for everyone obviously but as mentioned above if you like orchestral arrangement sounding stuff with blast your face off metal then Lorna Shore is right up your alley

This. Always in search of new bands and gave them a listen to based on your post. All three albums are greatness.

Heard this song while listening to the Southern Craft channel on Apple Music. Think the album comes out within the next week. Like the little riff at the end of each line

Love Fontaines DC as well. Discovered them purely by accident. Saw their record Live at Kilmainham Gaol on record store day a few years ago. Would have completely ignored it, except I had been to Dublin the year before and recognized Kilmainham Gaol. It was one of the sights we had missed. Bought it for no other reason, and loved it. Love their new one Skinty Fia too.

Robert has been in metallica for 20 years, and with this release marks his third album while in the band. DM to the new one.

Cliff had 3 albums (first 3) and was in band from 1982-1986.

Jason was in band from 1986-1994 until his third. AJFA to load.

4, to 8, to 20 years for bass players to get their third album.

The new Haken album is fantastic. Bringing back the original keyboard player gave them a kick in the tail.

Been out a few months so not exactly new but the latest Yeah Yeah Yeahs album is excellent.

damn.. 15 year album gap

Surprised sleep token hasn't made it on here yet.

I heard this back in mid Feb. or so, and have witnessed the immediate rise and take over. It got into heavy rotation on xm (liquid metal and octane), it's making its rounds through all the reaction channels...


Their second album is weird.. it's like singer/songwriter pop at times.. but then every once in a while they bust into this heavy 8 string downtuned math rock world.

This was one of the few songs I've heard from them that starts heavy out the gate. But then.. the end???? WTF is this!?!? R&B Metal?




Then this seems to be a bit more typical.. a really slow burn.. and, man it sounds like sam smith or imagine dragons or something, but it's good, and gets heavy.


band members are unknown.. might be a Ghost type situation with one dude kinda being the Trent reznor.

I just found a live video of summoning in Manchester.. Jan 19, literally a few days after the song was released.. crowd is singing all the words.That's crazy. They are from UK, so clearly they already had some fans over there and US is just finding out about them.

The new album from Crown Lands is going into heavy rotation for me.

Been wearing out the boygenius album this week. It's very good.
