Full EP comes out Friday, but they dropped their version of Iron Maiden's Phantom of the Opera overnight.

Pretty dang true to the original (like much of the Jesus He Knows Me cover was as well) with some Ghost subtleties ... Solid overall as would be expected. Makes me really curious how they're going to handle Tina Turner.

Also, feels like the album art and some of the graphic scenes in the video below may be a nod to Eddie? Maybe I'm grasping there.

Really digging the new QOTSA. I think the Boneface trilogy definitely has a pretty definitive ranking to me.

I'd also recommend a couple of the long form interviews Josh has done for this record. Both good interesting discussions about loss, grief, acceptance and what he's been through and how he's dealt with it.

For those that don't know he's has multiple deaths of very close friends (Anthony Bourdain, Taylor Hawkins, Mark Lanegan, Rio Hackford) plus the Bataclan, and then a very messy divorce.

I wasn't moved by QOTSA. I can't stop listening to the new Rival Sons album Darkfighter. So damn good. I also listen to the new Foos & Clutch on a somewhat regular basis.

I've been in on Voyager since long before they were in Eurovision. The new album is tremendous.

Probably not going to be a popular choice with this board, but anyone else a fan of Paris Texas and/or heard their new album "MID AIR"?
