Why did she get fired?
He had a rough go of it hollywood wise. He became good friends with Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn which really helped him. He's basically produced every Vaughn movie in the last X years.NoahAg said:
This looks pretty bad. Maybe bad isn't the right word but nothing in the trailer makes me want to watch it. Boring.
Fun fact: Ralphie (whatever his real name is) was like a NASA kid ambassador in the 80s. He was at the launch when the Challenger exploded.

He directed that horrible movie Couples trip.
Glad he has embraced his inner Ralphie to make some $$.
I wonder how this came about. Was Billingsly approached with a script or did he decide to produce it and hire the writers?

I'm glad it's on HBO MAX as I wouldn't want to pay to go see it at the theater and be ticked off but I bet there will be a few good scenes in it. It looks like a 2.5 star movie to me, which is fine for a random night when there is nothing on.watty said:
Wow, that looks awful. I'm a HUGE fan of the original. It's in my top tier of all-time favorite movies. And that trailer didn't make want to see that movie at all. Bummer.
I think we'll find a day next week to watch.ElephantRider said:
Well, did anyone else watch last night? I thoroughly enjoyed it. It felt like a fitting sequel. That could easily be the nostalgia talking though; the original is an integral part of Christmas for me.
That's a great idea.MrPlow2010 said:
I think I'm going to watch it Christmas night. I want to watch the original when it's on tv Christmas eve or Christmas day. I think I'll appreciate the sequel more after watching the first one again even though I've seen it 20+ times over the years.
