It's kind of crazy, but also exciting, that we have no idea if season four is going to take place in London, New York, Silicon Valley - or all three. I can't think of a single show where that kind of question was left hanging between seasons.

Harry Lawtey will not be returning to HBO’s ‘Industry’ for the upcoming fourth season.

Deadline has learned that his exit from the series after three seasons is due to scheduling conflicts.

Really sucks that Rob isn't on the show anymore. But as long as the end of the series is Piper in prison then we're all good.

Over a year late, but that finale was fantastic! Had it been the series finale it would have been in the top tier list for finales I've ever seen. It definitely felt like they wrote it without the expectation they'd get another season.

I have no idea how they bring this all back together next season. No Rob is a bummer because it felt like he had become the heart of the show, but it kind of makes sense with where they left his character. It is a natural ending for him.

Hopefully they can keep the level they found in season three going forward, because this show got significantly better from season to season.

There are finally a few shots of him in the latest trailer above, but he looks to have a very limited role.

I have added this to my to watch list and very late to the party but better late than never. Will start with season 1 this week and once I catch up, I will come back to read the comments here.

If this is anywhere near as good as Succession, I will thoroughly enjoy it. Can't wait.

Meh. Harper is basically a caricature at this point. We'll see how the new faces pan out.

Hmm. Huge fan of the show.

Watched the first episode. We will see I guess. Super over the top as would be expected. No spoilers but that reunion is quite convenient.

Lots of season left so we'll see where they take it.

For the record, Harper is still the absolute worst, and I wish she were gone instead of Rob.

That said… I'm actually really digging the overall Industry: The New Class meets The Social Network meets corporate-crimes-swept-under-the-rug meets unethical-investigative-journalism vibe so far.

Is it a lot? Yes.

Do I miss Pierpoint? For sure.

Do certain elements so far feel forced? A little, yeah.

But I was also entertained from beginning to end, and can't believe how much I missed being confused as hell by all the insider jargon.

Industry is back, baby.

Bring on the rest of the season.

I checked out the first episode over lunch and it really felt rushed, there's a lot to unpack, multiple storylines being laid for more than one character to the point I'll probably need to rewatch it at some point because I know I had to have missed something. I still enjoyed it, just a lot to process. The only real issue I had is because I just think Kiernan Shipka is a terrible actress, and while her appearance was brief, she didn't make any strides to change my opinion of that in this episode. For as good as this show is, I really think they've missed the mark on a number of their casting decisions over the years.

-I also miss Pierpoint, that's a really on-point observation that I didn't even think about while I was watching the episode but it hit the nail on the head.
-Totally agree that Harper is the worst, but she's a necessary evil for this show and her character fits what they're doing.
-Glad to see Rishi, even if it wasn't for very long.
-I'm already way more vested in what happens with Tender during this season than anything with Lumi from last season.
-I'm really curious where they go with Charlie Heaton's character. A journalist who isn't altruistic is a lot more compelling with this group than one who's just trying to uncover corruption.
-Seeing Yasmin and Henry, while also knowing we're not getting Robert this season, is disappointing.
-Harper trying to pivot into going into business with Eric, what could possibly go wrong there?
