Of all the batsh*t crazy on this website, from politics to sports to entertainment, the one consistently insane take, that's far and above my favorite, is TexAgs' ability to downplay the attractiveness of some of the hottest women on earth. Be them celebrities or rival school "hotties," the brazen rejection from middle aged dudes and dads, of objective smoke shows, will never not be hilarious to me. The cherry on top, of course, is the go-to "my wife is hotter" boast, which… good for those wives and their husbands' high opinions of them… but those opinions are never not delusional.

Now, Plaza might not be up there with the pinups and the models, but that's part of her attractiveness… the girl-next-door looks, combined with her dead-pan, unpredictable, one-of-a-kind personality, along with that crazy twinkle in her eye.
believe me, the Hurricanes unofficial board is 1000 times worse

because they have zero moderation, it is literally filled with pr@n and anti-semitism and doxxing and cyber stalking

every hot woman in the world is subjected to "well her nose is too wide" when she is literally a model on the runway in Paris.

social media and the internet are filled with tens of thousands of incels and weirdos

Ah! Sorry, misinterpreted your post. Yeah I agree, I think that's all for Tanya/Greg as well.

With that said - do yall think we get any crossover or does Mike start completely new? I know someone mentioned maybe Connie Britton coming back. Wonder if that family is still together.

I would love to get a Laura Dern character at some point. She was apparently Dom's wife in this season though - that was her voice on the phone when she was chewing his ass out. (SIAP). She is a favorite of Mike White.
that was also a highly unlikely aspect of this season

the fact that literal millionaire Michael Imperioli, who enjoys escorts and has an addiction to attractive women- is going to be so freaking upset about the loss of his 50 year old wife that he literally pays $50K to Lucia for Albie's blessing.

please!

he would be out celebrating every night and have three girlfriends on the plane back home.

Going to admit my idiocy here -- I kept seeing people talk about Asia for the next season, and others the Maldives. Thought there were conflicting reports until I realized the Maldives are in Asia.

I've always thought they were in the Mediterranean.

I am dumb.
LOL

you were probably thinking of Cyprus or Crete

Also unbelievable that his wife would change her tune just because the son called to say "Dad's changed."

Let's get some shout-outs to your favorite random lines, moments, characters not involving the big plot points. Some of mine:

  • Portia "I couldn't find you on instagram". Jack "I don't do that sh*t". Portia "...not even instagram..?"
  • All of Cameron's super italian outfits all week, they just never addressed it again that his luggage was lost and apparently never came.
  • Anytime Matteo or Salvatore were on screen I was cracking up just at their presence.

She could be frustrating but she was maybe the most real for me. She wore her struggles and emotions on her sleeve.

All she needed was a little ***** to lose the bad attitude.

The line where Tanya said something about "sometimes those healers being kinda witchy ya know" as justification for totally abandoning the spa idea cracked me up.

Tanya was totally correct when she said " I should've given my money to that lady in Hawaii to build spas for poor people"

Aubrey, I'm sorry I hit a nerve with you. I did say you had a killer body but I'll stick with the face comment.

Really happy with how it ended and the storytelling and acting is top notch.

But am I the only one that feels like it is a grating struggle bus getting through these seasons? Like I get that's the vibe and I guess I appreciate it, but dammit if I just want to fast forward sometimes. 7 hours of downer people with ****ed up lives and strained relationships, many of whom you don't root for, to get to that last episode which was actually a great payoff and ties it all together nicely. I don't know what it is, something about the pacing and intensity with no relief until the end I guess?

It's a long slow burn, that's for sure.

Obviously some folks love that ... they love looking in the background of scenes for clues, and discussing on the Internet what "might" happen, because nothing ever really does.

I'm kinda in the middle. I enjoyed it but I didn't really look forward or think about it too much. My spouse hated it and thought it was the most boring show ever.

Wow I feel the exact opposite. I couldn't really care less about the mystery death being resolved, i actually enjoyed watching these rich miserable *****s cut each other up. The dialogue and charisma of the actors was something that had me wishing for more. Lol Different strokes I guess.

I just finished it after watching one episode a day for past 7 days.

For me, I thought it was a slow start but then around episode 4/5 it really grabbed a hold of me with the tension and storylines. I personally don't care about the details of the crimes or what was happening, it's all about what the characters shown on screen are experiencing and going through in the moment and how it is shown to maybe change them.

Tanya could be annoying but I thought much more so in the initial episodes but then later was shown to almost be canny in certain situations. I actually did imagine (different than predict) her being the killer of people who might be trying to scam her, but I pictured more of an accidental type killing - something inadvertently killing the scammers through her ineptitude, not her grabbing a gun and blasting them with her eyes closed.

The poor communication between Ethan and Harper was frustrating me to the point it was almost a distraction, but that only last a couple episodes.

I personally like entertainment that doesn't spell everything out, and in this case not only do we not need to know what happened between Cam and Harper and Ethan and Daphne, but not knowing was IMPORTANT to the point being made in Ethan and Harper's relationship.

Maybe the biggest laugh for me was when the beach guy got moved to the front desk and started talking.
