I've never seen Finding Nemo but can quote a ton of it.

We used to have it on in the car when we went places and my kids would watch it nonstop.

They didn't use the headphones because mom could never figure out how to play it in the headphones and music on her end, so we just got used to listening to movies.

For me it's Tarzan and one of the chipmunk movies. The single-dad drive between CS & San Antonio with 2 girls under 6...

When Road to El Dorado came out we rented it and I must have watched it at least 15 times in a week. I was a young lad at the time and Chel awakened something in me that had never been awoken before.

I'm assuming when you say "repetitively", you mean literally back to back several times. Not just a movie you have rewatched a lot, like many on this thread are mentioning.

For me it was Fellowship of the Ring when I first got it on DVD. It was when it was first released and I was still a freshman or going into my sophomore year of high school. I got this DVD before we even had a DVD player at my mom's or my dad's house. From that moment on, I must have watched it at least 6 times within the span of a couple weeks.

I would find anyone who hadn't seen it and recommend watching the movie. It's now over 20 years later, and I'm still not tired of it.

As for movie's I've rewatched more than 8 or so times? That number is fairly high. But I've never gone on a back to back spree with any other movie other than Fellowship.

When I was a kid growing up Above The Rim would come on basically every weekend at like midnight on either TNT or TBS and I must have watched all or part of it a hundred times. I don't know why... I just loved that movie.

Extended edition or the version that was shown in the theater?

If theatrical, the whole movie in one sitting or would you stop it halfway? Would you restart the next day or continue where you left off? What's your favorite scene?

If extended, one disc per day, or the whole movie in one day? Did you ever think about watching both discs at once? What's your favorite extended scene? Have you seen all the bonus features? What's your favorite commentary track?

Have you ever worn a LOTR Halloween costume? Have you worn wigs? Will you wear wigs? When will you wear wigs?

Holy Grail. Watched it every chance I got. This was in the Dark Ages before VCRs, and the only way to watch British comedy was our local PBS station.

Ghostbusters. Saw it 11 times in the theater the summer it was released. My buddy and I would get to the ticket booth, intending to see something else, and then buy another ticket to Ghostbusters anyway.

Damn near had Holy Grail memorized in college. Same with Dazed and Confused

I bought it immediately on release, so it was the theatrical. I don't think the extended editions came out until after Return of the King was released.

Quick! Think of a paradoxical question to ask lethalninja and see what it says!

I don't think it's aged very well. Watching it for the first time now, as an adult, I doubt you'd like it.

I think it's one of those movies you either grew up on and loved, or didn't and will think it's overrated if you go back and watch it later in life. That's how I felt about it, at least, because I did not grow up watching it. I feel the same way about the Goonies. It's okay and kinda fun, but I grew up on the Princess Bride, Back to the Future, and Indiana Jones.

I once watched Stepbrothers then immediately started it over again.

As a kid I watched Empire damn near every day for a whole summer, but I'd usually pause it at favorite scenes to draw them.

I watched The Muppets a lot when alone in Saudi whenever I'd get lonely and depressed.

I was discussing this with my wife at dinner last night. For me it's Jurassic Park, Holy Grail, Blazing Saddles, Tremors, The Mummy and Tombstone. Top Gun and Dazed and Confused are probably up there as well.

Top Gun is easily her most watched
